Veturia is looking to build on a promising debut on these shores at Philadelphia on January but slight preference is for HUNDRED ACRE WOOD, a much-improved second here last month. Tina's Note makes up the shortlist.
Third Knight is sure to prove popular following his promising debut effort here last month but BLUEGRASS SPRINGS might be worth another chance having failed to show his true colours latest. His previous course debut effort was highly encouraging and there are races to be won with him. Navy Guard completes the shortlist.
UNPRECEDENTED has proved himself a model of consistency of late and he looks the most solid option here. He gets the nod at the expense of Bellardo and Al Aqsa.
SILVER OVER GOLD's form figures aren't all that inspiring but she is now having just her third start following a long layoff and could be worth chancing now eased slightly in grade. Night Brigade will go close with a repeat of her penultimate effort but she's not very reliable. Superstitious Love, knocking on the door in similar races of late, completes the shortlist.
HACKLETON showed his versatility to following up a route win in January with a narrow sprint success last month and the improving son of Giant's Causeway looks one to follow for the time being. Roman Invasion has come back to the boil lately and scored nicely over this track and trip earlier in the month. Cat In The Forest is capable of better than he has shown so far this year, as his two previous course wins highlight.
DYNAMIC HOST returned to winning ways over a similar trip to this at Santa Anita last month and it's not hard to see him doubling up this evening. Game Token has been running well here, including in stronger company, and looks sure to mount another bold bid, while Best Actor is another capable of getting in on the act.
TOQUE edges the vote in what looks a fiercely competitive heat. He won cosily over this track and trip last time and must play a leading role if arriving in the same mood tonight. Overextended and Maggie's Hadder are others worthy of consideration.
SAGINAW bounced right back to form when scoring in a $75,000 stakes event over 6f here last month and that form looks the best on offer. Uncle T Seven and Socialsaul complete the shortlist.
T C LANE was narrowly denied when runner-up here last week and a reproduction of that effort might be good enough to go one better in this. Westerday is the obvious danger but Gracie Too should not be ignored.
