FREUD'S VALE appeared to improve for the longer trip when placed over a route here last month and is open to further improvement beyond 7f. Mobil's Mobie and Sly Aspios are feared most.
TAPIT'S BREW looked one-paced in the closing stages over 6f last time but is expected to build upon that effort over this extra furlong now eased in grade. Glory Game and Citius look the principal threats.
IRISH BEAU showed signs of greenness on debut over the extended 5f but is entitled to build upon that effort now granted this extra yardage on his second start. Silent Admirer and A Lifetime of War can give him most to think about.
QUICK TURNOVER took a step up in trip in his stride when striking over C&D earlier in the month and, with his well-being assured, he's taken to get the better of Highland Bay and Open Ice Hit to land the spoils.
PLAYING FOR FUN was far from disgraced when fourth in a better race here latest and a reproduction of that effort, in this weaker event here, may be sufficient to land the spoils. Hold That Echo and Carrtowns Katie are others considered.
SECOND ACT was one place behind Midnight Rawks when fourth here latest but was forced wide on the bend and may be capable of reversing those placings with a clear run. Bourneville is also capable of making her presence felt.
SIR LOWRY'S PASS failed to give a true account of himself when ninth behind the reopposing Dr. Harkness last time, however, if putting his best foot forward he's a danger to all at this level. Speyside looks best of the rest.
KAY'S GRACE won over C&D in September to confirm her effectiveness under these conditions and, on the back of a creditable course third, she is preferred ahead of Hurricane Lorraine and Peche Mobilee.
STOLICHO is open to more improvement than most of these rivals and shaped like the penny had dropped when second over 6f here last time. Yes This Is It and Bilby Rhode both have place possibilties.
MOBIL MILLIE has been knocking hard on the door in recent months and it is hoped her consistency is finally rewarded. Lynnessa and Sava River can give her most to think about.
SEAWATCH rattled the crossbar over a route here when last sighted and wouldn't need to improve much upon that effort to get back into the winner's enclosure. Master Noble and Matter of Haste can scrap it out for the silver medal.
