VERY LOCAL appreciated the drop in grade when scoring cosily around this track and trip last week and could take some stopping on her bid to follow up this evening. Eagaletto finished an honourable third here on her latest outing and rates the biggest threat, while Real Dilemma is another worthy of consideration.
MYSTAMY finished with a wet sail when landing the spoils around here last month and, with this step up in trip likely to suit, he could prove a cut above these rivals. Yamana faces his easiest task to date and must be respected in this company, while Ciano Nights is another that cannot be easily dismissed.
MOSSBANK didn't appear to get home when finishing sixth in a $250k contest around here in October and, with this drop in trip sure to benefit, he could take all the beating in this company. Hey Now dotted up here on his latest outing and is unlikely to go down without a fight, with Inside Executive also holding place claims.
ROWANBERRY ROAD produced a gallant effort in defeat when finishing second around this track and trip last month and is given the vote to lose her maiden tag tonight. Askeaton has finished in the frame on both starts to date and is likely to be in the firing line yet again, while D'oro Day is another that warrants respect.
BEARSTEIN stayed on strongly when finishing third around here last month and looks like the one that they all have to beat now stepped up in trip. King Rush wasn't beaten too far here on his latest outing and it would be no surprise to see him involved in the shake-up tonight. Night Leader looks next best.
J T MORGAN produced a career-best performance when finishing second around this track last month and is well fancied to get off the mark tonight. Rain Runner was behind the selection that day and may have to settle for a minor role again, while Regal Chacha is another in with a squeak.
ARCHERS ALYANCER is a fairly consistent performer at this level and, after finishing a creditable second around here in October, he looks sure to mount a bold bid in this contest. Dancer's Bajan stayed on nicely in a Grade 3 event here last month and should be suited by this extended trip, while Cobotown Ron is another with claims.
MR. BOWIE lost little in defeat when finishing second around this track and trip last month and receives the tentative vote to score tonight. Comeuppance is taking a significant drop in grade and is likely to have his say in this, while Quinner's Circle could be another worth noting.
WISDOM FURY stayed on to good effect when finishing fourth over 7f here last month and could prove extremely hard to beat now stepped up in trip. Young Dom faces his easiest task of late and is dangerous to dismiss in this field, while Mark Casse's colt, Storm On The Track, is another in with a shout.
AROMATIC confirmed her recent well being when trouncing the opposition around here last month and is very hard to oppose in her current mood. Selina's Mask won comfortably here on her latest outing and is likely to give a good account in this, while Private Elegance is entitled to run her usual solid race.
BENT ATTORNEY very rarely runs a bad race and, after scoring cosily around this track and trip last time out, she looks sure to play a leading role in this heat. Fight The Storm is a fairly useful performer at this level and could give the selection most to think about, while Southern Kitten could go well at a bigger price.
LEMON TWINS has been knocking on the door of late and, after getting narrowly touched off around here last time out, she is strongly fancied to go one better tonight. Forbidden Bite has been placed on her two latest outings and is likely to be involved in the mix again, while Lady Ty is no forlorn hope if putting her best foot forward.
