It will be interesting to see how May Parkin fares in the market making her handicap debut on her first start since joining Michael Wigham and Irish raiders Fathzo and Insomnitas also merit a market check. However, EMPEROR'S WELL has dropped to an attractive handicap mark and there have been signs on his three most recent outings that he could have another race in him so he gets a tentative verdict.
Herbert Crescent is in better form than most and can gain a rare success. Gifted Heir could be dangerous if having a bit more use made of him, while Emperor's Well, for all he's better on turf, has dropped to mark from which it's difficult to ignore him.

TODBER looked an unlucky loser at Lingfield last week, behind Lucky Leigh, on her return from six months off the track. That run will have blown away any cobwebs and she can gain compensation here. There is no shortage of dangers, however, with Anne Of Kiev, Welsh Opera and Feeling Foxy all making plenty of appeal.
Weet A Surprise could be the solution to a tricky sprint handicap. Todber and Welsh Opera are just 2 of a number of potential dangers.

An intriguing maiden but a solid case can be made for CONFESSIONAL who found Listed company too hot at Redcar earlier this month but had previously been knocking on the door and could get the better of Barlaman and King Of Windsor who should both be getting off the mark before too long. Of the newcomers, Tomatin and Princess Mandy are worth keeping an eye on.
King of Windsor is switched to polytrack following a couple of promising efforts in turf maidens and should have too much toe for his rivals here. Autocracy is another trying AW for the first time who could prove a different proposition, while newcomers Tomatin and Princess Mandy must be respected also.

PENANG PRINCESS was far from disgraced in a very competitive York handicap on her latest outing and is only 5lb higher than when running out a comfortable winner over 2m at Kempton on her penultimate outing. John Forbes has been raised 3lb for his C&D success earlier this month and must be respected. Monahullan Prince could not be ruled out with confidence though and the same can be said to Spiekeroog who might find some improvement with blinkers now applied.
Spiekeroog looks open to improvement and can win a handicap at the second time of asking. The reliable Monahullan Prince could be the one most likely to take advantage should the selection not give his running, though Penang Princess leaves the impression she may have more to offer.

FARNCOMBE disappointed when well fancied on her handicap debut over 7f at Kempton last week but there could be more to come from her over this longer trip and she might be worth another chance now dropped to claiming company. Gaily Noble is the highest rated runner in the line-up and his best form would give him a big chance. Johnmanderville and Latin Tinge are others to consider.
Plenty of disappointing types on show, but a number of them, notably Gaily Noble and Latin Tinge, have some good form in the bag. It may pay to take a chance on the former, the mount of Kieren Fallon, who has ridden this track well in the six weeks since his return. Why Nee Amy looked a different horse when winning last month and could be involved also.

DIAM QUEEN showed a good attitude to win at Folkestone over 7f on her debut and she is entitled to have learnt plenty from that experience so she makes plenty of appeal now tackling handicap company off a mark of 78. Graymalkin landed a Haydock maiden on only his second outing and the runner-up has since franked the form so an initial handicap mark of 83 might not prove beyond him. Spanish Duke and Architrave also merit consideration in an open and competitive-looking nursery.
Graymalkin should keep on progressing now handicapping and may have too much in hand for debut scorer Diam Queen and Spanish Duke.

FLODDEN FIELD showed some promise in a Leicester maiden earlier this year and is bred to be significantly better than his rating of 63 so he is taken to make his handicap debut a winning one. Arashi has been knocking on the door and should be on the premises once more whilst Hucking Heat has solid claims if coming back to his best.
Arashi looks to have plenty going for him in a race where the same can't be said about many others. Flodden Field has the potential for further improvement on his handicap debut and is another to bear in mind, while Hucking Heat is potentially well handicapped and it wouldn't be a surprise to see him come on for his run here earlier in the month.

KAZBOW achieved his mark of 64 with three runs in maidens over shorter trips and better can be expected now he tackles handicap company over this trip. Tinkerbelle has been raised 12lb for her facile Lingfield victory earlier this month but that might not prevent another big run from her and she rates a serious threat. M'lady Rousseur may be best of the remainder.
This looks to provide a good opportunity for the promising Kazbow to get off the mark before going on to better things. Tinkerbelle went up 12 lb for her wide-margin success over M'Lady Rousseur last time and the former may reverse the placings.
