A good class of mare with fine credentials under these conditions, GIRL DE BASSIERE (10) encountered all sorts of woes here last time out but her form is not in question and, with a better trip, can impose. That being said, HAPPY DANICA (2) is a veritable steamroller when barefoot and will not go down without a fight. Enjoying something of a renaissance this year, HURELLA (5) is barefoot for the occasion and is unlikely to disappoint. Seen more often under the saddle this winter, GOLD VOICE (14) can nevertheless boast excellent Vincennes references and the change of discipline may be just what the doctor ordered.
