(8) EROS DU FERRON is new to the venue but is at the top of his game and will have a lot to offer if he takes to these conditions.

(7) FELICIANO does occasionally throw his toys out of the pram but on the whole he is a quality trotter with a Group 1 to his name. He was a particularly impressive winner of the Gr.2 Prix de Croix three weeks ago and can double his money. Just as in the Prix de l'Etoile (8) FALCAO DE LAURMA finished runner-up that day and may once again have to play second fiddle. Criterium Continental third (6) FRISBEE D'AM is never easy to knock when focused and unshod and with application can make up for his poor luck in the Prix de Croix. (2) FIFTY BLACK has twice failed to confirm December's Gr.3 success but with application can play a role.

A close third that day (6) ECLAIR DU MIREL confirmed a fortnight ago and can again make the frame but will first have to see off the complicated (9) HARD TIMES who will be driven by his handler for the first time this winter. After a trio of sanctions (4) THE BUCKET LIST F. reassured in a Class A here early last month and racing barefoot this time will be more competitive.
