BELLEVARDE found solid support in her 2nd start but got going too late and wasn't disgraced in 2nd. She should contest the finish. ANGELSEA was close-up in all 3 starts and won't go down without a fight. RUN FOR ISLA needed her last run and the extra should suit. GIFT OF GIVING attracted money on debut but never got into it. Verdict

MAGNUM P I finished 3rd on debut then finished 2nd in his next 4 starts. He deserves his exit permit from the maidens. WEST POINT needed his last run in new surroundings and if takes his place could feature. MASTER OF COIN finished close-up in his last 2 and shouldn't be far off again. He could turn it around with SECRET LINK but it could get close between them. ABAYYAAN wasn't far back in both starts and could get into the action. WAVE WARRIOR is better than his last two.

Verdict

A strong field of 3-year-olds compete in The Dingaans (Grade 2) over 1600m. PYROMANIAC did well after a long break when a clear 2nd to highly thought of Desert Miracle and should run a big race.
