VIBRANT TOPPER didn't appear to get home when finishing second over six and a half furlongs here last time out and, this drop in trip likely to suit, he will be well fancied to regain the winning thread tonight. Oceanbeach won in gritty fashion here twelve days ago and is unlikely to go down without a fight, while Dixieland Meeting is another in with a shout.
JUSTA GROOVIN flattened out in the closing stages when finishing second over six and a half furlongs here last month and receives the tentative vote to go one better now dropped in trip. Dane's Klinsman is taking a slight drop in grade and could give the selection most to think about, while Networker looks best of the remainder.
YOUR HIGHNESS LEIA has been in cracking form of late and, after comfortably landing the four-timer around this track and trip last time out, she looks sure to take all the beating tonight. Luckyanunoit faces her easiest task of late and could pose the main danger, with the Charles Essex-trained Star Fix also holding place claims.
NAVY LASS won with plenty up her sleeve over 6f here last time out and, if handling this drop in trip, she could take some stopping on her bid to follow up tonight. County Rose very rarely runs a bad race and is likely too have her say in the outcome, while Pegalee is another that cannot be easily dismissed.
A few in with chances here but QUESTFORROMEO made a really good impression when striding clear to make an impressive winning debut here earlier this month and although this is tougher there should be more to come and she is taken to win again. The dropped-in-class Ginny's Pig and Franny B make most appeal of the remainder.
WEEKEND AT LARRY'S was bitterly disappointing when trying to chalk up the five-timer last time. However, his previous form gives him the edge over tonight's rivals and a chance is taken on him to bounce back here. Recent winners Woody's Dream and Arctic Tiger are likely contenders and could be worth considering for any combination bets.
A potentially-tricky puzzle for punters to solve but HOPING FOR GOLD makes plenty of appeal and gets the vote. The Neil Knapp-trained three-year-old made a pleasing debut when finishing third here last month and with that run sure to have brought him forward, he is fancied to open his account at the expense of Lexington Loverboy and Berudenottoo.
