WHOOPS A DAISY hasn't put a foot wrong in both starts since tackling hurdles and she should be able to complete the hat-trick this afternoon. Nicky Henderson's charge won in similar testing conditions over 2m1f at Hereford last month and this stamina test shouldn't be a problem as she won over an extra three furlongs at Bangor last time. Maggio is joint-top rated in this field (with the selection) and looks the most likely danger ahead of C&D winner Buddy Holly.
C&D winners Buddy Holly and Ultravox ought to go well again under ideal conditions, but the progressive Whoops A Daisy is difficult to get away from on her hat-trick bid.

BRILLIANT showed a likeable attitude when striking in this company at Fakenham nine days ago and, despite a 4lb rise in the handicap, he could take some stopping in his bid to follow up. Brigadore sits on the same mark as when 3 1/2-lengths behind the selection that day (finishing third) and should be able to close the gap, while Low Delta is currently 8lb lower than his only career win (which came at this venue) and cannot be ruled out with any confidence.
Brigadore wasn't seen to best advantage on his debut for Alan Jones at Fakenham and can reverse form with Brilliant. Grand Fella is not easy to rule out on his debut for a new yard, and needs a market check.

This should be a fairly straightforward task for the Venetia Williams-trained SAWPIT SUPREME. She left a trio of moderate chase efforts behind when scoring comfortably at Warwick last month and further improvement can see her defy a 5lb rise in the handicap. Prophete De Guye was 11-lengths behind the selection on that occasion (finishing fourth) and probably needs more than a 6lb turnaround to reverse placings, so Jim Best's L'Homme De Nuit is most feared.
L'Homme de Nuit may do better over fences now his sights are lowered and is taken to see off recent Warwick winner Sawpit Supreme.

Wood Yer has got closer to the target in each of his three starts since tackling hurdles and seems sure to reach the frame here, but he's not the most straightforward of rides and ROUND THE HORN edges the vote. Although not getting any younger, this 11-year-old won with any amount in hand over 2m6f at Wetherby on Tuesday and a 7lb penalty shouldn't be enough to stop him if he's in the same mood. Argentia climbs in trip for her handicap debut and is no forlorn hope.
The step up in trip should bring about some improvement in Sapphire Rouge on her handicap debut and she can get off the mark. Ban Uisce and Argentia could provide the most resistance.

MISS FLEUR looks the one to beat off bottom weight. Stamina is proven as she won over 3m towards the end of late year and bottomless conditions (like are forecast today) didn't appear to cause any problems when a fine second at Plumpton latest. Panzer dotted up on his latest chase outing at Fontwell in October last year and commands respect returning from a break, while Preuty Boy is another with claims on just his second start over fences.
Panzer and Miss Fleur stand out here, with narrow preference for the former.

With no racecourse form to go on here, it could pay to side with the in-form yard of Venetia Williams, who runs SYNDICATION. The gelding cost connections 25,000 euros as a three-year-old and is related to a string of winning jumpers in France. Jackstown, who looks the pick of the Seamus Mullins pair, is related to some useful Flat sorts and could be the one for the forecast, while Thomas Crapper warrants respect.
With no form to go on it seems prudent to side with Syndication, representing the in-form Venetia Williams yard. Jackstown boasts the most appealing pedigree among the rest.
