Double Court has been hugely consistent over the summer months despite only winning one of his last five outings and looks the most obvious of these. However, preference goes to DENNY KERRELL, who contested some decent novice hurdles at the back end of last season and now makes his handicap debut with Daniel Sansom claiming 10lb - so a bold bid wouldn't be the biggest of surprises. Lunar Flow was a winner at Exeter back in March and could have more to offer.
SONG OF THE NIGHT looked set to go close when unseating 2 out over C&D last month. He remains low mileage for a good yard and is fancied to gain compensation now. The winner that day Fled Or Pled is worthy of plenty of respect though, whilst Double Court is holding his form well.

A modest contest where ANGUS GLENS looks more than capable of doubling up having won last Friday at Warwick by nine lengths, and the 7lb penalty gained has been negated by Philip Donovan. IORA GLAS has begun to get the hand of things over the larger obstacles on his last couple of starts and posted a decent enough effort when runner-up behind Thegreendalerocket at Chepstow last month. The son of Court Cave is the only horse in the field proven at 3m and he can use his stamina to his advantage. Tanit River has been running consistently and shaped as though a step up in distance may suit at Uttoxeter last time, while Butney Island has to bounce back from a disappointing effort when well beaten into third by El Bandit at Fontwell in June.
IORA GLAS has improved with every run over fences and may yet have more to offer, so is just preferred to Tanit River, who himself has shaped well both starts in this sphere.

Pinkie Brown was the beneficiary of a schooling session with prize money when his only rival, Bantam, took a heavy fall early on at Warwick last time. Despite being a C&D winner, his jumping needs to be improved upon and he isn't exactly the biggest. Zarib also fits a similar mould as he looks handicapped to the hilt over hurdles and running out of options so it remains to be seen how he handles chasing. Preference goes to FOREST BIHAN, who looks to have the scope for chasing and has achieved a decent enough level of form over timber.

Jimmy The Jetplane is rarely far from the mark and looks sure to give a good account, but he hasn't always looked the most resolute in a battle and there could be one or two too good for him here. Preference is for MYSTIFIABLE, who won first time out over hurdles last season before going on to bigger and better things in this sphere. He is clearly a lot better than showing on his latest outing in a Listed chase at the Aintree Festival and is well worth another chance on his return. Milan Bound also merits consideration with a comeback run over hurdles under his belt.
MYSTIFIABLE was progressive over fences last season and remains on a fair mark, so with the prospect of even more to come, he is taken to make a winning return. Always On The Run went off too hard at Cheltenham last month and better is expected with the hood back on, while Milan Bound remains with potential in this sphere.
