GOULANE CHOSEN passed the post in fourth when behind Shaneshill over 2m2f here in November, and although he was disqualified and officially placed last after his rider weighed in light, he makes plenty of appeal on that performance, as well as his earlier Punchestown fourth behind Outlander. Westerners Son should be thereabouts if reproducing the form of his course third to Ttebbob in November, while Buck Dancing is entitled to improve now fitted with a first-time tongue-tie and could also take a hand.
WESTERNERS SON took a backward step in this discipline at Fairyhouse earlier in the month, but he shaped with plenty of encouragement on his chase bow at this venue prior to that and is worth chancing to bounce back, possibly at the expense of Goulane Chosen, who is gradually improving over fences, but looks vulnerable again at this shorter trip. Marvellous Moment is another worthy of respect.

CARRIGMOORNA ROCK landed Grade 3 honours over timber at Leopardstown last season and should be all the wiser for the experienced gained on her chasing bow at Clonmel in October. Robert Tyner's charge failed to justify favouritism that day, though her performance provides a platform on which she's entitled to build nevertheless, with the latter comment also applicable to Naas fourth Uranna. For Gortnatona is also worth a market check now stepping over the larger obstacles for the first time.
