With a lot of Paul Nicholls' runners improving for their first start back, BATHSHEBA BAY is fancied to build on his encouraging Wincanton display and land the spoils. It looked an above-average maiden in which he finished third earlier in the month and as well as being that little bit sharper, he may also benefit from the fitting of cheekpieces. Scardura has joined Neil Mulholland (from Andrew Slattery) since finishing fifth at Galway in August and he rates the biggest threat, with NH debutant Taurean Dancer holding each-way claims.

COBY NINE ran a monstrous race in defeat when second at Plumpton nine days ago for David Bridgwater and deserves to go one better.
