Verdict

Rested BERRINGTON BLEW showed potential earlier. She had excuses in some of her recent runs but could be best at this venue. A wide draw is a worry. TIPPERARY doesn't need to find much more to open her account. She finished runner-up in her last two and from a decent gate could score. BELLIGERENT needed her comeback when well behind the latter and is set to make good improvement. A 2.5kg apprentice claim should boost her chances. SOVEREIGN GEM, HEY DIDDLE DIDDLE and FLEUR DE LING haven't been far off the action and need to be considered.

Verdict

The first leg of TAB'S popular Pick 6 looks wide open. PAST IS PROLOGUE ran a fair race, even though expected to need her last start. She should build on that. PEACH MELBA was up with the pace last time and ran out of steam. She is having only her third start and perhaps will try different tactics and get closer. KALI BWANA is overdue and has the turn of speed to mow down a field like this even if dropping in distance. She is, however, returning from a short break. SIYABAMBELELA has shown potential but jumps from the widest stall. More can improve.

Verdict

ETZEBETH had been given time to mature. He ran a fair race on debut after jumping away slowly and gives the impression he will appreciate the step up in distance. APACHE AG has battled to run well at Hollywoodbets Greyville but his form can't be faulted. He has drawn well and should have every chance. TASTE THE RAINBOW had things go wrong last time. He didn't enjoy the extended distance but could bounce back over 1400m and needs to be included. OWNER OF CREATION must be in the firing line if judged on his last two efforts. QUINCY TOWN could prefer the extra.

Verdict

BRUH has shown class and as a result is best in at the weights on official ratings. He is also one from one at the venue and must be respected, even if racing after a rest. But all eyes could be on Master Of My Fate colt SALANI KAHLE who impressed again even though switching from turf to Poly. He could be headed for better races and may be well be underrated. GOTTA GO EDDIE was gallant in defeat last time but has a little bit to find at the weights. Still, he looks a threat. Rested TAKE NO PRISONERS popped up in his penultimate start. ACTOR can finally pick up his second career win. He would have found 1400m a bit short in his last two starts but is trying 1750m for the first time. FRENCH TRIP sets the standard as he was a promising third in a feature over the track and trip last time. He has the best of the draws to boot. CONTINENTALEXPRESS' last three wins have come over 2400m, but he could dictate the race if allowed to do so. ARVERNI KING has useful form and could be there if not in need of it. Verdict

KING PELLES is back in his home town and could bounce back to best after running below par in the Grade 1 Betway Summer Cup. He is prepping and should find the distance a bit short, however. DOWN BY THE RIVER has been a revelation of late. He is not well in at the weights but is in good form and should be right there. CAPE EAGLE finished a few lengths behind DOWN BY THE RIVER last time but he is very capable and could be dangerous at the weights this time.
