Bellesteros arrives here with plenty of experience under his belt and on the back of another solid effort at Haydock last Friday in what looked a hot maiden. Slight preference, however, is for INDIAN TINKER who displayed a marked improvement at Yarmouth on his second outing and further progression could prove good enough. Poseidon Grey can also get serious following a promising Kempton debut and is certainly one to keep onside.
Ballesteros has some strong form to his name from back in the spring and can get off the mark now with this return to 5f in his favour. Poseidon Grey seems sure to take a hand providing his debut antics were just down to inexperience, while the speedily-bred Million Faces could be up to making an impact on debut.

MATA HARI BLUE wasn't beaten far at Leicester last time out in similar company and this drop back to 5f from an advantageous stall two can bring about the desired affect. Winning form at Southwell on the all-weather would suggest she can cope with any ease in the ground but keep a watchful eye on Cardinal who has come down 1lb in the ratings and takes a considerable drop in class. Of the others, Stratton Banker looks the each-way value judged on his best form.
Boogie Waltzer and Mata Hari Blue would be major players if on-song but both have questions to answer at present. As such, the finish could be fought out by Cardinal and Bobby's Doll, with marginal preference for the former who should get the strong pace he requires.

Sir Michael Stoute appears to hold a strong hand in this maiden event with both Mawaqeet and EL GRECO but the latter gets the vote having had the benefit of a run. The chestnut colt made a pleasing start here in July when running on gamely to finish second over 7f and this step up to 1m could prove key. Elsewhere, Emmuska commands the utmost respect for Richard Hannon juvenile team and the stoutly-bred Shantaram also catches the eye.
El Greco stayed on well on his 7f debut here in July and holds strong claims with improvement likely. Newcomer Shantaram looks a leading player, while Emmuska is another to consider stepped up in trip.

Looking On is interesting on his handicap debut as the unexposed three-year-old has shaped well this term in maiden company, albeit in defeat, and could still be feasibly treated. Sure Route bounced back to something like her best at Windsor in August but preference is for DOUBLE DEALER. The red-hot Mohammed Al Zarooni can do no wrong at present as his horses have hit a rich vein of form and this son of Dubawi shaped really well on his recent return.
Cruiser is versatile ground-wise, so won't be inconvenienced whatever the weather has in store, and has shown more than enough to suggest he's up to winning off this mark. Sure Route rates the main danger, while Mutajare should be in the mix if reproducing the form of his latest effort.

DEAN SWIFT finally shed his maiden tag over this trip at Goodwood and makes his handicap debut off what looks an attractive opening mark of 80 against many exposed types. The way in which he lengthened when stepped up in trip last time suggested there is still more to come and the son of Dansili could be one step ahead of the handicapper. Keep an eye on the consistent Icebuster who runs from 5lb well in at the handicap and Broughtons Swinger who has been going well recently.
