After a promising narrow second over C&D on his hurdling debut, KANPAI found just one too good in a higher grade at Huntingdon latest. He should improve for the return to easier ground and is taken to get it right here. Rosecliff's lack of experience told when touched off in his opening hurdling attempt last month - around six lengths ahead of third-placed Spidam - and Andrew Balding's inmate is expected to give the selection plenty to think about today.

Supreme Tadgh held RIVER TRAPPER by just over two lengths to score over 2m3f at Taunton last month but a mistake-littered latest outing saw him end up on the deck. Henrietta Knight's gelding will have learnt plenty from that chasing debut and can turn the tables 7lb better off this afternoon. Harris Bay jumped well for a facile victory on his chasing debut over 2m3f at Towcester latest and is an obvious contender today, despite a 14lb rise in the handicap.

After winning four out of four over timber, BUENA VISTA jumped the last in front in a Grade 2 Cheltenham contest over 2m latest but the concession of 7lb to very promising novice Boychuk found him out up the hill. Martin Pipe's 4-y-o concedes 7lb all round again here but is unlikely to meet one as smart as he did last time out. El Vaquero was second to My Will over 2m5f at Cheltenham in January but improved to sign off for the season with a Grade 1 victory here. He shaped as though the step up to 3m would suit that day. He needed the comeback run at Huntingdon last month and is weighted to reverse the form with My Will today. GETOUTWHENYOUCAN has jumped like a veteran in making all on both chase outings over similar trips, however, and Martin Pipe's highly promising gelding could take some reeling in again this afternoon.

Durlston Bay has done his best work over 2m4f here, including when a close second in a decent contest on his seasonal debut last month, but has something to prove over 3m and it could pay to side with BOY'S HURRAH. He disappointed on his reappearance latest but the dual C&D winner loves it here and won this race last year. Rudolf Rassendyll made a pleasing return at Windsor last month and is well weighted to give a good account today.

Pablo Du Charmil clearly has ability after landing two hurdles at Auteuil but they were only minor events and he could struggle to give 8lb to dual bumper winner ITS A DREAM. Nicky Henderson's inmate stayed on strongly to land a valuable event at Punchestown in April and is expected to be a big hit over timber. Schumann is another NH flat winner that looks a useful addition to the hurdling game and Billyandi is moving in the right direction - they can't be ruled out.
