Verdict

The hat-trick seeking Money Line's two wins came over fences and his recent hurdles form is less impressive. RED ECHO is up 6lb after winning at Fontwell last month but would have scored with ease had he not blundered two out. He can follow up here. Ballyhoo and Come Bye are capable hurdlers at their best but the handicapper may now have their measure.

Double Spectre is fit from the Flat and was third on his return to hurdling. He could go close but preference is for the progressive BACKLASH, a very easy winner at Wincanton this month and capable of defying a 7lb rise in the weights. Verdict

Highland Chief has claims judged on his best efforts but this should go to SECRET GLEN, a C&D winner last month on just his third start over fences and progressive enough to defy an 8lb rise in the weights. Folie A Deux has done nothing over timber but his yard is better known for its chasers and he could prove the danger.

Verdict

Giveusaclue has won a bumper and is not without claims, while Silver Serg has taken some time to get the hang of things but he's put in a couple of decent efforts over timber recently and he has serious claims here. It might pay to side with hurdling debutant RED OPERA, who is sure to have been well prepared for this.

Verdict

Full On is in fine fettle but may struggle under a 10lb penalty for his recent victories, while The Hardy Boy ran up a hat trick last season and has plenty of weight as a result. No Way Back looks reasonably weighted on his best form but his jumping is suspect and preference is for CASTLEMORE, a good second at Wincanton last time and only 1lb worse off now.
