BUCK THE LEGEND produced a gallant effort in defeat when runner-up to a useful sort at the end of last season and is taken to make a winning return to action. Fly Doctor is much better than his recent fifth at Cartmel suggests and is expected to bounce back to form here, while A P McCoy's mount, Herakles, is another worthy of consideration.
DIABLO made a pleasing start to his hurdling career when third over an extended 2m6f at Stratford 10 days ago and, with improvement expected, he could round off what could prove to be a very successful day for the Twiston-Davies yard. Pas De Baratin finished third on his previous NH outing in a chase at Enghien and must be respected on his first outing for the Tom George stable, while Quiny Boy is another that warrants respect.
