Gordon Elliott has an outstanding record here and it will be interesting to see if there is any support for either Harley Road or Traffic Article but Nigel Twiston-Davies also does well at this venue and slight preference is for his FRONTIER SPIRIT. He showed plenty of promise in his two runs in bumpers during the winter and can make his presence felt on his hurdling debut this afternoon. Present To You and Promising Times are others to consider.
Present To You's second at Ffos Las in January worked out well and he was clearly not at his peak when beaten at Warwick subsequently. He's worth another chance on this return from a 6-month break. Frontier Spirit and Promising Times are taken to reach the frame on their hurdling debuts.

This looks like a penalty kick for RIVERSCAPE. She was a shade disappointing on the flat last time but had previously been in terrific form and she sets a clear standard here. Barring accidents she should have little difficulty scoring again but should she fail to deliver, the one most likely to take advantage is Grand Diamond. A consistent performer on the flat, he can be expected to give a good account while Holyrood could fare best of the rest.
Virtually impossible to look beyond Riverscape in receipt of weight, with Grand Diamond the one for the forecast.

Kosta Brava got off the mark over fences with the minimum of fuss at Wetherby over 2m1f in May and he is sure to prove popular amongst punters this afternoon. Cappagh landed a 3m handicap hurdle at Exeter when last seen and he is interesting on his chasing debut but he would appreciate a stiffer stamina test. RELAND was not at his best at Kempton on his latest start back in March but he had previously gone close on his chasing debut at Ludlow and can make a big impact here if at the top of his game.
Cappagh will doubtless be popular on his chase debut, but he's shown clear signs of temperament and is worth opposing at this trip. Kosta Brava gets the vote ahead of Reland.

Leopard Hills was strongly fancied on his hurdles debut at Cartmel last time and he was far from disgraced, eventually finishing third to Turf Trivia. He should improve for that experience and is likely to go close again but AL DAFA is narrowly preferred. He showed a good level of ability on the flat for Michael Bell and shaped nicely on his hurdles debut for Gordon Elliott earlier this month. Resolute Road might be worth a second glance on his hurdling bow.
Al Dafa showed plenty of ability on the Flat, and looks the one to beat following an encouraging hurdling debut 10 days ago. Leopard Hills was a disappointing favourite on his timber debut, so a greater threat may emerge from Resolute Road.

Twelve Paces held on gamely to score over this C&D last month but a 7lb rise in the weights makes life tougher now. Nudge And Nurdle and Catch The Perk both have winning form over this C&D and they are respected. Valerius also has winning form at this venue and he has to be on the shortlist but it could pay to side with his stablemate STEEL MAGNATE. He has been gradually improving in beginners chases and could be ready to make his mark now tackling handicap company for the first time.
Steel Magnate looked to be crying out for a return to 3m when third in Ireland last time and can add to his trainer's fine record at this track. Recent course winner Twelve Paces isn't the most reliable but can't be ruled out, and neither can Catch The Perk given his record in the race.

Bescot Springs is an interesting contender on his first start since joining Lucinda Russell whilst Huncheon Wells could go close if putting in a clear round. MAD MOOSE took a tumble at Uttoxeter earlier this month but he had previously won nicely at Cartmel and there could be further improvement to come from him.
Provided Mad Moose's confidence hasn't been shaken by a heavy fall at Uttoxeter he could well regain the winning thread at the chief expense of Liz's Dream and Planetarium.
