EASY ARGUMENT led from the start on his debut over C&D in a similar contest this month, only giving way close home to finish a close second. With that experience under his belt, he should be capable of going on better this time round. Caribbean Beau has put in two good efforts in similar contests and looks the one for the exacta while Rock N Heart might not be too far away.
The Kimberly Graci pair, Spikeavellian and Trippedoutofadream, have good form at this level and should be thereabouts while the consistent West Lido has finished third in this grade in his last two starts. Both times, however, he finished a place behind TAMING THE TIGER. Stephanie Beattie's charge has only run four times in the past two year's but boasts an excellent strike-rate over this trip and has won in better company. He should be worth following tonight.
SHESADOZER has some good form in better races at Woodbine at the end of last year but it's her performance when over this C&D this month that wins her the vote here. Dropped to this grade, she destroyed her field to come home by nearly 18 lengths and a similar effort will see off tonight's rivals. Navajo Slippers, who has been running with credit in slightly tougher races and looks the obvious choice for the exacta while Dr Sooz, Big Time Bling and Virtuous Lion can fight out the minor placings.
After two good efforts in tougher contests, HUMBER VALLEY romped home in this grade over a route here this month. It's difficult to oppose him while he remains in this sort of form. Gosmon, winner of a $7.5k claimer at Monmouth last summer, and Wood Dale, who has form in much better company, don't look at their best at present but should still fight out the minor honours.
There seems little between Twoformeoneforyou and My Lady A. P in this grade. Both have gone close recently and have swapped positions over route trips here. It might be worth taking a chance, however, on FOREVER TANGO, winner of a $10k claimer over C&D two starts ago. She's far less exposed than her main rivals and could still be open to some improvement.
AWESOME RUBIANO is a model of consistency and should be capable of returning to the winner's enclosure after finding a couple too good over a route here last time. Ghosts And Legends was found wanting when raised in grade last time but this is much more his level and a bold bid is anticipated if his stamina holds out. Sounds Appealing scored on his track debut last time and is also considered.
VICTORIASLILSECRET was denied by a head on her return from a break at Laurel Park last time but the run is unlikely to have been lost on her and she can gain compensation at a track she clearly relishes (2-3 here previously). Hat-trick seekers Lion's Terms and Seeking Glory shouldn't go down without a fight and their inclusion makes for an interesting contest for the grade.
SILVER BREW looks the one to be on now, eased in grade and dropped back in trip. Smart Talk had Kings Tuesday behind over C&D earlier in the month and neither could maintain their challenge to the line. However, they should be fighting it out for minor money along with Dippity, who is capable of making an impact at this level.
Unbridled Dispute has benefitted from being dropped back in trip the last twice and hasn't fully convinced over 6f previously so might be worth taking on. STAN'S MONEY ran his best race to date over C&D last time and seems to be moving in the right direction so gets the vote. Poppys Lil Lion and Tiz Rescued By Joe also merit a place on the shortlist.
