ARANGOL boasts some rock-solid form in better company than this and, if he is ready to roll on his return from a break, he will be tough to beat. Mad George is feared most ahead of Road To Hope.
CAPTAINOF THE NILE won with something to spare at Philadelphia last time and he rates a confident selection in this slightly weaker grade. Hoosic Tunnel and Justin's Tapit are the pick of the opposition.
DESTINY JOY looked a shade unfortunate when third over track and trip last time and he is backed to gain compensation here. R Clever Cat is eased in class and heads the dangers, while Zarch is next best.
FARA'S KID hasn't finished outside of the first two in his five starts this year and looks the most solid option. Very Lucky and Speightscity were the first two home (in that order) over C&D in March and can get on the premises again, although the latter must reverse form with Peasant, who got the better of him last time.
BEACH BOY ALEX got tired on his latest outing, but that was only his second start this year, so perhaps he can give produce an improved display with his match fitness assured. Bright Monba reversed form with Knotty Aisle when last sighted and can go better, while recent runner-up Fat City makes plenty of appeal too.
Red Pond and Sprickett could emerge as leading players if bouncing back to form, but RED LIGHT DISTRICT arrives with his confidence buoyed by back-to-back successes, and looks capable of landing the hat-trick.
A chance is taken on MICHAEL'S TRIBUTE on her step up to a mile as she has looked one-paced over six furlongs of late and drops in claiming price here. Go Solo was held by reopposing rivals Forever Fairbanks (second) and Sugeily (third) among others when last sighted, but probably didn't give her true running, and is backed to run better here.
