TEMPESTATEFLORESCO was an impressive winner of the Uttoxeter Summer Cup on his last start and reverts back to hurdles now, presumably warming up for future tasks over fences in the coming season. He should have the class to take this ahead of Evan Williams' Bach De Clermont who got off the mark over timber at Southwell last time and should have more to come this term. Saxo Jack is slowly improving and can complete the select shortlist.

Jack Savage has become a useful asset to Jonjo O'Neill, able to remove weight from his handicappers, and it would be no surprise to see him have a positive effect on the fortunes of Foundation Man here. Double Treasure and Beau Bay bring recent winning form to the table, with the latter in particular improving significantly since joining Dr Richard Newland. However, the tough INNOCENT GIRL thrives in the early part of the season while the ground is still sound and can make a return to the winner's enclosure having knocked on the door of late.
