MAYO STAR made a winning debut for Nicky Richards at Ayr in January and the eight-year-old, who was always held in high regard while with the Jeffersons, could follow up in conditions which will suit. Bonny Houxty wasn't far away from landing a huge shock when third at Carlisle and should be given much more respect in the market this time. Dionysis is an interesting recruit from Ireland for Stef Keniry and is now tried in a hood.
MAYO STAR returned from a huge absence to win in the mud at Ayr in January and looks good for the follow up under title-chasing Brian Hughes. SEAPOINT built on some useful efforts to run out a comfortable winner over slightly further here and the six-year-old is backed to have enough in hand to follow up off a 7lb higher mark. Epsom Des Mottes was an emphatic scorer on his penultimate start, but was well held when having to settle for second subsequently. He was popular with punters on that occasion and could be once again, with the cut back in distance set to suit. The versatile SKYHILL is unbeaten in four and looked as good as ever when defying another rise in the ratings at Kelso in January. The seven-year-old has been hit with a further 8lb hike, but is clearly thriving and can extend his winning run. Speak Of The Devil is a dour stayer who will appreciate the forecast conditions, while Kings Eclipse and Oscar Ceremony both arrive on the back of victories and have to be respected too.
SKYHILL is a very likeable sort with plenty of stamina and looks the one to beat as he goes for a 5-timer. Oscar Ceremony arrives on the back of a career-best win at Musselburgh and is next best ahead of Speak of The Devil, who has a race in him off this sort of mark if brushing up his jumping.

WETLANDS was well supported ahead of his debut at Newcastle and certainly wasn't without promise, finishing fourth. He should know more about the game now and looks like the one they all have to beat. Nyoufsea also made an encouraging introduction, on the all-weather track at Gosforth Park, and he must enter calculations. Drenagh merits consideration following his pleasing third at Bangor.
DRENAGH has experience in points and wasn't beaten far in a steadily-run bumper at Bangor last month so, with this more stern test of stamina bound to suit, he can open his account here. Wetlands and Nyoufsea, who also arrive on the back of an encouraging start, should provide the main opposition.
