This could develop into a battle between the top two on the card, with AL FEROF narrowly preferred in receipt of 4lb from Kid Cassidy. Paul Nicholls' grey, second to Cue Card in last season's Champion Bumper, fell on his hurdling debut but has since finished third in the Grade 1 Challow Hurdle and recorded a bloodless victory over 2m4f at Taunton. Recent C&D third Kid Cassidy has plenty of pace and should give the selection something to worry about, while his stablemate Oasis Knight is a classy Flat recruit who must be feared.
Oasis Knight would be dangerous if translating his Flat ability to hurdling at the first attempt, but the 2 penalised runners could well fight this out, with preference for Al Ferof over Kid Cassidy.
