He's Our Man was put in his place in Grade 1 company at the track last month but bounced back with a pleasing effort back down in maiden company at Down Royal last time. He clearly relishes testing conditions but having looked one paced over that 2m4f trip, there have to be concerns as to whether 2m today will suit ideally. Sicilian Secret is holding his form reasonably well but is another that may ideally need further, so a chance is taken on GORMANSTOWN CUCKOO, who was third to the useful Cottrelsbooley at Leopardstown last month and has plenty more to offer.
A case of quantity not quality here and it can quickly be whittled down to just a handful of realistic contenders. Sicilian Secret is an expensive horse to follow and has yet to fulfil his initial promise, so the vote goes to He's Our Man who will be well suited by the return to this trip. Gormanstown Cuckoo should be there or thereabouts again.

SIR DES CHAMPS looks an interesting recruit to the Willie Mullins stable having scored on his sole start over hurdles during in his time in France. With the yard firing on all cylinders, now appears the ideal time for him to add a second win over timber to his tally. Big Game Hunter failed to stay 2m4f at Punchestown earlier in the month and should appreciate the return to the minimum trip while Der Spieler looks worthy of a place on the shortlist if his latest below par effort at Cheltenham can be forgiven.
Der Spieler and Wilde Wit Pleasure bring the best form to the table, the latter's recent efforts particularly solid, but French import Sir des Champs rates as an intriguing prospect, having had the well-regarded Sous Les Cieux (now a stablemate) behind him when scoring at Auteuil last March.

Willie Mullins has won the last two runnings of this race and he has an interesting newcomer in the shape of DUNBROVIC today. His half-brother, Salmon Cellar, showed enough ability to win two races over fences and it's interesting that he has been taken from Philip Fenton's stable, where he was originally purchased for 55,000 euros. Three of the experienced runners Casson, Skiboski and Espresso Lady are most feared.
Skiboski has arguably the best form on offer here but this is possibly best left to the Willie Mullins-trained newcomer Dunbrovic. Espresso Lady and Casson may battle it out for minor money.
