SHIELD remains a maiden after four starts over timber, but he has run into some useful prospects this winter - including live Albert Bartlett candidate Sure Reef last time - and Aidan O'Brien's charge can open his account under the Champion Jockey. Merrion Row was a solid fourth on his hurdling bow at Limerick, and he remains of interest dropped in trip on the back of a break, while Prince Of Lombardy is another who should appreciate the return to the minimum distance. MOZOLTOV was no match for his fellow Gigginstown House Stud inmate Trifolium in the Irish Arkle at Leopardstown last month, but a reproduction of that third-placed finish would be more than sufficient to account for this field now upped in trip. Willie Mullins' charge can land this before attempting to break his Grade 1 duck in the Powers Gold Cup at Fairyhouse over Easter. Folsom Blue is the obvious forecast pick, although his best form has come over further, while Summer Star is expected to finish third.
