It's hard to get away from the claims of VALOURS MINION, who won in fine style at Galway last time out. He has been bumped 9lb up the weights but this contest lacks some depth and he should take the world of beating. Old Supporter has been knocking hard on the door of late and hasn't been that far behind the selection in their recent clashes. He heads the dangers, with Leap Dearg, who improved out of all recognition last time, and Darwins Theory best of the remainder.

ANALIFET returns to the track having been pulled up with a pelvic injury in a Grade 2 last Christmas. She looked a filly going places before that unfortunate incident but if she has fully recovered and retains her ability, she should outclass her rivals. Kitten Rock heads the dangers following his excellent fourth in Grade 1 company at the Punchestown Festival. He has won fresh before and will be ready to pounce should the selection disappoint. Henry Higgins can grab third spot ahead of Morga.

LE VENT D'ANTAN had a productive time of things over timber last season but he has always struck as the type to make a better chaser and he is difficult to oppose with the switch to the larger obstacles expected to bring about marked progress. Real Steel was out of his depth behind Faugheen last time but he is a Grade 2 winner over hurdles and is entitled to maximum respect. Gallant Tipp and Getoutwhenyoucan will win races over fences but will likely fall short on this occasion.

KILLER CROW couldn't justify cramped odds on his hurdling debut at Roscommon in September, but the dual bumper winner has probably been the subject of a schooling session or two since and an improved performance is anticipated with Bryan Cooper taking over in the saddle. The booking of Katie Walsh for Tully East suggests connections are confident of a big run on his debut, and Ma Garrett will be out to build on her third-placed effort at Punchestown. JACK SLADE didn't fetch a great deal at Tattersalls in November 2011, selling for just 4,500 euros, but he's out of a well-related Presenting mare and is expected to be fully wound up for his racecourse debut. Nina Carberry is a big positive in the saddle and this might not take a lot of winning.
