The combination of the drop in trip and 75-day absence may be enough to see her land a first success over hurdles. Theirshegoes wasn't disgraced when finishing fourth on her debut in a Newcastle bumper last month and is entitled to improve now going hurdling.
Not a strong mares' novice and with the drop to 2m expected to suit Irish raider CLAIRMC, she receives the vote ahead of penalised-C&D winner Bents Hollow.

BEAT THE EDGE ran a fine race in defeat when headed late on at Market Rasen earlier in the month and a 3lb rise may not prevent him from gaining a first success. Duke Of Deception is feared most, despite taking a tumble here recently, with the six-year-old looking more than capable of picking up a race of this nature off his current mark. Dr Shirocco has shaped as if in need of this sterner stamina test and is another to note.
None of the quartet can be ruled out but the vote goes to DUKE OF DECEPTION who looks ahead of his mark and is taken to bounce back in style from his C&D fall last time. The consistent Beat The Edge is feared most, although Dr Shirocco can have a say too in a tightly-knit handicap.

Faithfulflyer secured a facile success over 2m at Kelso and remains of interest up in trip, but LASTOFTHECOSMICS kept on well for second over 2m6f at Newcastle last month and could bounce back to winning form back up in trip. He is now rated 7lb below his last winning mark and can make his presence felt, but Hard Iron arrives on a four-timer and can give him plenty to think about.
HARD IRON is on a roll and should take the beating. Faithfulflyer is a threat, and Lastofthecosmics and Starlyte are others to consider in an open race.

CABOY ran with credit last time at Kelso when beaten 10 lengths into second in a class 4 handicap, for which he has been dropped 1lb. That now puts him on his lowest career mark and he is fancied to capitalise. An interesting contender is Wolfcatcher, who returns from a long lay-off and could go close if primed for his return. Of the rest, Duty Calls is of interest as the gelding steps up to 2m4f and has dropped a further 1lb in the weights.
CABOY took a step back in the right direction when runner-up at Kelso last time and, with this shorter trip also a plus, he looks the way to go. Ayr-third Duty Calls could emerge as the main threat now he is easing in the weights, although Budarri is another who could have a say from a reduced mark if on his A-game.
