He will be peaking third up and from his inside gate, he is the one to beat. SHOOTTHELIGHTSOUT (5) improved quickly last time out when finishing runner-up at Cranbourne, that was his first attempt over ground and he looks to have a future in this role. A win would be well deserved. GRANDE BAIE (10) was running on nicely last start after getting too far back early on. The step up in trip is ideal and she is ready to win at short notice. Watch closely. AEROSPACE (1) is a touch one paced but is likely to handle a wet track better than most in this. He will be grinding home and should be included in all multiples.

HOOFS DON'T LIE (5) finished third on debut in a strong field before racing a bit flat at his next start, which was again in tougher company. He is resuming today at a much easier level and has been gelded since last racing. Hard to beat. BAHAMA BAY (1) nearly stole it off the front at long odds when making his debut at Traralgon. He will only improve with that experience and he only needs a touch of luck off the wide draw to be right in the finish. DIRTY GRIN (3) was not beaten far on debut at Caulfield when making his juvenile debut and has been put aside since then. He has since been gelded and with the natural improvement that is expected, he should be thereabouts. FREEWHEELER (4) has his form heading the right way with a last start second placing at Kyneton. He has the fitness edge on most in this and from his inside gate he is a must include in all combinations.

BRILLIANT MELODY (12) was a beaten favourite on debut before repaying her supporters with a win at her next start at Murtoa. She then jumped a couple of grades when finishing sixth at Sandown-Lakeside, she overdid it early on that occasion and will appreciate being back in distance for this easier assignment. The wide draw will make it interesting but she has the scope to continue to improve. On top. VEGAS DIVA (11) won comfortably two starts back before finishing fourth in a stronger field last time out. She is still at the improving stage of her campaign and should be thereabouts in an even line-up. WOLF REIN (13) is fresh up and her only win has come on this course. She prefers a wet track and with conditions to suit she won't be far away. Include in all combinations. LA VITA (1) closed off nicely when finishing runner up here last start.
