Earl Of Carrick stands out on ratings but he's not exactly looked straightforward and took an age to get going last time. He is opposed with Cool Wind who shaped well last time having met trouble in running behind Count Paris, running on as if this step back up in trip would suit. Race To Dubai invariably gives his running and can snatch a place.
This looks wide open. Count Paris hasn't always held his form for long in the past but he's doing nothing wrong at present and still looks on a feasible mark having shaped well behind Dan Chillingworth last time. Karma Chameleon should be sharpened up by the application of a visor and is feared along with Jamhoori who endured a brutal trip last time out.
A tricky race with several of these having their first outings for new yards. The percentage call is Sand Stamp who ran really well when second to Surfer last time, a performance that could easily have seen a significant rise in the weights. Discoverer and Curzon Line are interesting new recruits to racing in Dubai and both should have more to offer.
Not the strongest of races with several of these looking on the downgrade and it wouldn't be the biggest surprise were the Godolphin runners to dominate. Preference is for Ahtoug who has his quirks but can look very good when everything clicks and he does have the best form on offer. Les Troyens ran well behind Garbah last time and is a threat along with Mutheeb.
Inthar will rightly be popular after his good run at Kempton last time but he's sure to be priced up accordingly and Izaaj is preferred. He shaped well here on his reappearance a couple of starts ago and looks to have his ideal conditions in place. Hadba is a big danger having run so well last time but could have been better drawn.
