RUSSIAN ROYALE is turned out under a penalty after romping home by six lengths over 2m at Perth last time and rates the one to beat on the back of that effort. The main danger could be Oneofapear, who wasn't disgraced in third here last time and is entitled to improve for the fitting of first-time cheekpieces. Paddy Mulligan was having his first start since February when seventh at Uttoxeter last time and could also take a hand with that run now behind him.

DOMINADA failed to win in eight starts on the Flat but he struck in style on his hurdling debut at Uttoxeter earlier this month, making every yard of the running and returning a seven-length winner.
