This son of Acclamation has displayed a fair level of ability in both hurdle starts to date and the form of his latest third at Bangor has been boosted with the fourth winning since. Baharat is unlikely to make up 21-lengths on the former, but should be able to close the gap now Richard Fahey's gelding is penalised.
This looks to rest between Royal Opera and Philharmonic Hall with preference for the former in receipt of 7 lb.

Hawk Mountain did the job nicely on his hurdling debut at Sedgefield last month and is likely to be a warm order here, but CRACKENTORP edges the vote in receipt of 7lb. He was marginally the better on the level and there was plenty to like about his third in a hot novices' hurdle at Newcastle in November last year (first, second, fourth and fifth have all won NH races since). Enroller, a Group 3 winner on the Flat, is a fascinating runner on his hurdling bow.
Hawk Mountain and Crackentorp are bound to be popular and the former is just preferred after a most promising debut last month. Enroller was better than both on the level in times gone by, and market support for him would look significant.

OUR COLUMBUS looked an out-and-out stayer when just getting up over 3m at Chepstow last time and, likely to improve further for this step up in trip, he gets the vote to defy a 9lb hike in the weights. Canal Bank was by no means disgraced when fourth on his seasonal reappearance at Carlisle 24 days ago and he could figure prominently here if stripping fitter, while Copper's Gold, who is all about stamina, certainly isn't out of it either.
Copper's Gold has been running well of late, and with the step up in trip and return to a right-handed track in his favour can get back to winning ways. Canal Bank and Our Columbus are others to consider.

Night In Milan looked better than ever when a staying on second over 2m4f at Sedgefield last month and he can only benefit from stepping back up in trip, but LARKS LAD gets the nod. A walkover winner on his chasing debut at Southwell the time before last, we learnt a lot more when second in a decent novices' event at Fakenham latest and further improvement should see him in the mix today. Lucky Landing has each-way claims on his first start over fences.
Rossbrin impressed with his jumping when easily winning at Huntington and looks the solid option. Lucky Landing is worth considering on his chasing bow for his in-form yard, while the progressive Night In Milan also makes the shortlist.

CAUSING CHAOS is taken to open his account at the fifth time of asking. He attracted plenty of market support when producing his best effort yet, third over 2m5f at Towcester four weeks ago, and that first start since December last year is sure to have blown any cobwebs away. Chicklemix is another arriving here in top form and should go close, while Jukebox Melody won a bumper at this venue last term and is worthy of consideration.
General Ting has been crying out for a return to further of late and looks the best option in a tricky handicap. Causing Chaos and Chicklemix shouldn't be too far away either.

Its difficult to look past DRUMLANG here. He won with plenty in hand over 2m at Uttoxeter last week and is effectively 1lb better off this afternoon with Shane Shortall's claim taken into consideration. Roxane Bruere has been knocking on the door recently and should be in the shake-up once more while Hammer, who ran a fine race finishing second on his latest hurdles start at Ludlow in May last year, arrives fit from the Flat and has place claims.
Drumlang looked well ahead of his mark when winning at Uttoxeter last week and he can overcome his penalty with the minimum of fuss. Roxane Bruere could be the one to give him most to think about.
