Frameit won with plenty in hand at Uttoxeter last week and he looks sure to mount another bold bid here but slight preference is for AL DAFA. Gordon Elliott's representative got off the mark over hurdles at Perth last month and, although he has subsequently finished well beaten on the flat, he can play a leading role back over obstacles. Free As A Lark showed some ability on the flat for Chris Wall and she is respected now making her hurdles debut for Evan Williams.
Al Dafa looks sure to play a leading role under his penalty if putting a recent Flat blip behind him, but Free As A Lark was no slouch on the Flat and can make the most of the weight allowance starting out over hurdles for Evan Williams. Frameit looks best of the remainder.

Irish raider Wikaala is sure to prove popular and he commands the utmost respect but WILLIAM'S WISHES is rated 8lb superior to him over hurdles and he could take all the beating if taking to chasing at the first time of asking. He progressed nicely over timber last term, rounding off with a creditable effort in a Grade 3 contest at Haydock, and he has the scope to make a very useful chaser. Twentynineblack comes into this in good heart and he should not be left out of calculations.
William's Wishes was useful over hurdles and will be hard to beat if taking to fences straight away, but he's not the biggest and the percentage call might be to side with Twentynineblack, who made a smooth transition at Hexham recently and should build on that.

This contest hinges on NATIONAL TRUST. He has by far the highest official rating in the line-up and, although he was disappointing over fences last time, he will take all the beating if turning up at the top of his game today. Armenian Boy has been running well in handicaps and has solid claims dropped into selling company while Tayman has a shout on his best form and the same can also be said for Pocket Too.
National Trust has presumably not been the easiest to train, but he's the class act here having been successful off a mark of 117 in March. Armenian Boy is the obvious danger, while Tighe Caster may do best of the rest.

HALLING GAL shaped nicely at Wincanton last week and she could be feasibly treated now racing off a mark of 104 so, with trip, track and ground likely to suit, she can be expected to go very well today. Tom O'Tara was not at his best when last sighted but is a capable performer on his day and it would be foolish to overlook him while Phoenix Eye finished runner-up at Huntingdon last week and he has solid claims on that form.
Phoenix Eye doesn't win as often as he perhaps should, but this looks a great opportunity for him, with Lodgician and Liberty Seeker feared most.

MACS LAD fairly bolted up over 3m2f at Plumpton earlier this week and if he can reproduce that effort today, a 7lb penalty will not stop him from taking all the beating. Heezagrey carries a 7lb penalty for his 3m Uttoxeter success last week but he will justifiably have his fair share of supporters. Autumn Red was narrowly denied at Worcester last time and he is worthy of consideration while Classic Clover and Havenstone are others with claims in an open heat.
Macs Lad was barely off the bridle when scoring at Plumpton earlier in the week and he looks by far the most likely winner if turning out again quickly. One More Dinar lacks a recent run, but could prove dangerous if ready to go after his summer break. Autumn Red could fare best of the rest.

Thievery boasts a good record fresh and can make another winning reappearance at the chief expense of Peak Seasons and Papradon.

Zakatal shaped nicely in his three runs over hurdles earlier this year and he looks sure to make an impact on his return to action but it might be worth taking him on with NATUREOFTHEBEAST. A dual point-to-point winner, he made a winning debut for Evan Williams in a bumper here earlier this month and, with this trip likely to suit, he is fancied to make a winning start to his hurdling career. Eternal City makes some appeal on paper and he is worth a second glance on his racecourse bow.
