Well-related dual bumper winner FOUR CLEAN ACES will be more experienced than when falling on jumps debut. She fell at the third-last when giving chase, at a good pace, to an experienced and previously Listed-placed winner at Ballinrobe but today will be racing at a slower pace over an extra distance. Silent Approach is more experienced and was herself Listed-placed in May. That Killarney run was a fine effort but she has been beaten in five maiden hurdles and drops back in distance having failed, when in receipt of weight from the winner, over three miles at Wexford last time. Mayor's Walk won a Lingstown point-to-point for Colin Bowe last March and having failed to sell at 145,000 pounds, is retained by her owners and has joined a top yard. Her points win is difficult to assess but can get involved for the placings. Dark Image has minor place claims on best bumper form while Instant Tendance ran well in a smart sales bumper on debut but returns from a long layoff.

CHAUTUAQUA, which runs in a first-time hood, finished second in a useful maiden when last seen in March. The winner of that Naas race was a Listed bumper winner who scored again subsequently, while the third, fifth and sixth-placed horses each won subsequently. She returns from a summer's break and runs from her same yard but for another IHRB licensee. Lookondebrightside finished second in last year's renewal under his same weight and rider and returned from a spell in the UK and following a layoff, recently. He should struggle to concede so much weight to the selection. Aeros Luck has been running well in summer hurdles and is closed matched with Our Girl Sal on Bellewstown form (being 2lb worse off today) while Ivy Hall finished fourth and is worse off weights-wise. With My Little Eye (Syndicate)'s SPY is loitering on a light weight and indeed caught the eye last month. His hurdles form is largely unexciting but was rated 80 on the flat and finished well at Killarney. He could improve in first-time cheekpieces on handicap debut. Common Practise won last year's Apprentice Derby and while absent since February, this race will have been a target. He gave the winner too much rope at Fairyhouse in January in a race from which the third-placed horse later won a Grade 2, while the fifth won the Fred Winter Hurdle. He nonetheless concedes plenty weight, in first-time cheekpieces. Grade 2-placed War Correspondent finished 20 lengths ahead of Common Practise last October but disappointed last month. Charlie Luciano competes form a career high mark. Boher Road and Jackpot De Choisel beat The Lovely Man by, respectively, 19 lengths at Wexford recently and 12 lengths in December although each has enough weight. Bojak improved to win a fast-run maiden at Cork while Dark Note and Shajak (pulled up recently) are closely matched on Sligo form in July. Sundial was a good fourth in the Fred Winter Hurdle in March but was well held at Galway while New Year Honours debuts in handicaps.

In-form GOLDEN SANDBANKS won for the first time on soft ground recently and reverts to hurdles. Capable in all codes, he won his last hurdle race at Sligo and remains rated 2lb lower over hurdles than fences. Contrapposto won at Cheltenham last November and while well beaten in two subsequent hurdles, lost a shoe at Tramore on August 17. He ran well at that same venue five days ago and should compete from his 101 rating. Charlies Pride won well at Kilbeggan but is 9lb higher while Lakefield Flyer has some form at this level. GOLD SPEED has bumped into some well-handicapped winners on recent runs. He returned from 525 days off last November and while previously successful in September 2020, ran well behind subsequent winner Ballybawn Belter at the Punchestown Festival and the well-in Teed Up at Galway. Bumper winner Moonovercloon has progressed well and while suited by this distance, is 9lb higher than when winning at Sligo. Experienced four-year-old Mighty Mo Missouri has been running well although his rating has climbed back up recently. Extrapolation beat 13-race hurdles maiden Clifftop by three lengths at Ballinrobe in July but is 7lb worse off while Cottie has been running well in similar handicaps but would prefer good ground. Kendancer hasn't won since August 2021 and runs in a first-time visor, although his rating has fallen. El Champo faces a stiffer task than when winning at Kilbeggan.

ANYWAY landed a recent gamble doing a jig and while 18lb higher now, he should at the very least compete. It is no surprise to see cheekpieces, which worked so well at Downpatrick, reapplied and he seems to like a sound surface and is also closer to home. Five-time winner Arctic Ambition has a lower hurdles' rating than chase mark but was well held at Sligo while Getaway Charlie represents an in-form yard and debuts in handicaps but might prefer further. Storm Mahler competes from a career-high rating but is progressive. Recent winners Old Chap and Boskill Borden face tougher tasks than when winning at Sligo and Tramore respectively while General Clermont gained a belated first win at Killarney. Our Bobby is in good form, while Pure Sirloin was well held at Galway.

LUCKINTHECITY represents Willie Mullins and could be smart. Out of a flat winning dam and a brother to three flat winners, he could be a pacey and should also appreciate nice ground. Tomavian showed ability on debut in a winners' bumper at Down Royal and is out of an unraced half-sister to smart hurdler Won In The Dark. She should improve from her debut but nonetheless received weight from the winner, third and fourth-placed horses, although today's rider again claims 5lb. Le Coq Hardi, from a smart French family, ran well for Pat Doyle on point-to-point debut at Ballycahane and the booking of John Gleeson is a positive. Dancing Dame, Thegraveyardbookie and Can't Resist It finished second, third and fourth in a Killarney bumper and have place claims while Thunder Rose was well beaten at Sligo last month. Big Dee is bred for sprint distances but his dam is a sister to a Group 3 winner and could be useful.
