Verdict

On their Lingfield running there is little to seperate Featherlight and Papradon and, despite the former being a winner at Kempton, there may be more to come from John Best's lightly-raced. However, in what looks a tight opener it is ALNWICK that gets the vote. He is improving with each run and on his latest effort, when second over C&D, had a previous winner behind.

Verdict

Ocean Pride is an interesting rare runner on the Flat from the David Pipe team. But two rock solid performers at this level are Right Option, who will make life tough for the rest having put together a fine sequence of efforts of late, but TREETOPS HOTEL has won in better grade races and is still very capable as his win in a similar race here last week testifies. In what could be a close run thing, he is marginally preferred.

Verdict

Andrew Balding`s Gordonsville can put his experience to good use and make the frame, providing he can get away from the stalls better, as this appears a weak race. And better can be expected from Victory Mile who has had two inauspicious runs when his yard was under a cloud. But on his run here earlier in the month this does look a golden opportunity for CYBERSNOW to break his duck at the second attempt as his debut effort was very promising , the Amanda Perrett winning his introduction everywhere except in the shadow of the post. Amongst the rest there looks nothing to seriously challenge him and he should take this comfortably. Selection ; Cybersnow

Verdict

With two powerful yards sending out debutantes in Lady of Passion and Sailor at Sea this could be a nice maiden . There was a lot to like about the way Art Sale knuckled down to his task at Goodwood, catching the eye making late progress and must be kept on the right side. Magical Spedfit is another holding some cards after tilting at windmills at the Royal meeting. Before that however he looked a winner in waiting with two seconds at Windsor, a place beckons here. But in the same race at Ascot, MAJOR EAZY finished ahead of the George Margarson colt where the selection was quietly fancied with some decent bets placed. After the trainer not being able to buy a winner up to last week this was highly significant therefore we must take heed of the hint and give him the nod.

Verdict

Egyptian Lord seems better on the fibresand and Heath Bay has one or two decent runs in better grades to his credit and will be more suited at todays level. Prince of Delphi struggled in the soft at Leicester whilst Russian Rocket has not yet regained last summers winning form .Matterofact has been in cracking form all year and will be a hard nut to crack but BLACK MOMA may just be able to do so. With some solid runs in better company in his last race. ( todays grade ) he looked more at ease and this could give the Hannon filly a well deserved win.
