HARLESTONE WOOD has shaped with considerable promise in earning an official rating of 80 and he is the obvious choice. Although turned over at odds-on last time, he didn't appear to do a great deal wrong in finishing second and the likes of Elysian and Torero need to improve. The Roger Varian-trained newcomer Full Swing is nicely bred and should know his job so he might prove a bigger threat to the selection than the aforementioned pair.

The return to sprinting should do the trick for LAGER TIME, who could only finish third over 7f at Wolverhampton last time but had previously chalked up wins over 5f and 6f here earlier this month.
