Godolphin enjoy a fine strike rate here and MUTAFAJER has excellent claims to bolster that record further. The son of Oasis Dream was gradually progressive throughout his juvenile campaign and with fitness never a concern at this yard, he can break his maiden. Danehill Sunset and Craicajack both showed enough on their respective Lingfield debuts to suggest there is more to come whilst Aalsmeer is hard to assess on this first run for her new yard as she has yet to perform over anything other than the minimum trip.
Although Aalsmeer stands out like a sore thumb judged on his efforts in listed company as a juvenile, he faltered on a couple of occasions when presented with clear-cut opportunities to get off the mark. It could be that Danehill Sunset and Mutafajer will improve past him this season, with preference for the former, who should represent some value.

ALFRAAMSEY failed to break with any alacrity on his Bath debut but came home in tremendous fashion once the penny had dropped for the son of Fraam. He can only improve for the experience and can score here if getting off on something like equal terms. Leiba Leiba was only caught late in the day on his Nottingham debut but the selection may just have more scope, although Marco Botti's charge looks sure to go well. The market should prove the best guide to the Andrew Balding newcomer, Black Cadillac.
Both Alfraamsey and Leiba Leiba shaped like future winners on their respective debuts, while Roche des Vents is likely to leave his inauspicious debut effort well behind. However, it could be worth chancing debutant Black Cadillac who, interestingly, was being considered for a typically-decent class 3 maiden at Ascot on Saturday.

MUSIC MAESTRO went down by just over a length on the final run of his juvenile campaign to Elspeth's Boy and a repeat of that performance would probably be good enough here. He was also only beaten half a length by Layla's Dancer at Thirsk and is preferred to Cansili Star. The latter was consistent enough last term but the selection gives the impression that he has greater room for improvement. Sheer Force is not discounted whilst any money for Macie on debut would be noteworthy.
Macie is an interesting debutante but Cansili Star and Music Maestro, both of whom represent stables in good form, have shown enough ability to suggest that a maiden of this nature will come their way. The vote goes to Music Maestro, who won't be inconvenienced should the ground deteriorate.

KILT ROCK has compiled a decent polytrack record and there's no reason why he shouldn't go just as well back on turf. He enjoys this specialist trip and Tom Queally is an interesting booking. Sonny G put some relatively modest efforts behind him when showing major improvement to score on the polytrack here last time and could be very well treated. The really interesting one is Yabtree who showed promise in maiden company last term and makes his handicap debut here off a fair mark.
Imperial Warrior proved himself competitive off a higher mark before being caught out wide from high draw at Epsom last time and appeals as good value in a wide-open affair. Tell Halaf and Kilt Rock are just 2 of many others worthy of closer inspection.

PISCEAN was not at the top of his game on his reappearance at Goodwood on Saturday but that run will have blown away any cobwebs and he is very attractively handicapped on his best form so gets the tentative verdict in a wide open sprint handicap. Equuleus Pictor is also feasibly treated on the pick of his form and could go close whilst Rocker can also be expected to make his presence felt.
Recent-winner Captain Carey should go well, but this can go the way of Love You Louis, who has been in really good form recently and has the speed to get a good early position. Equuleus Pictor is interesting at a bigger price.

War And Peace has been knocking on the door of late but he remains a maiden after 24 starts and that fact tells its own story. Golden Rock has been disappointing but it is unlikely that we have seen the best of him and it would be foolish to write him off just yet. FERNANDO TORRES was running consistently well towards the end of last year and, if he returns to action at the top of his game, can score this afternoon.
A really tight contest, but War And Peace has shaped well on both starts for David Evans and can get off the mark with Richard Hughes taking over in the plate. Fernando Torres did well on this surface at the end of last year and should go well if primed for action after a break. Teen Ager is another to consider.

Andrew Balding has his team in good order at present and he an strike here with OPERA GAL. She improved with each start as a juvenile and there could be more to come from her this season. Fonteruoli scrambled home to justify favouritism over 1m1f at Wolverhampton last month and he merits the utmost respect along with Dubai Bounty and Life And Soul. Neither Gifted Apakay or Another Magic Man can be confidently ruled out.
Dubai Bounty and Fonterutoli are both progressive types, and while there's little to choose between them, the latter shaped as though he would relish this stiffer test of stamina when scoring at Wolverhampton last month and gets the nod. Opera Gal is unproven over this trip or on polytrack but is still most interesting of the remaining quartet.

Roshina dead-heated over this C&D in March and a 3lb rise for that success might not stop her from mounting another bold bid this afternoon. SATURN WAY appeared to lose his way last season but he remains open to improvement and it could pay to take a chance on him on his reappearance. Night Lily ran well at Doncaster last week and she is shortlisted along with I Confess and Sotik Star.
Plenty of possibilities in a wide-open finale. Copperwood has been in terrific form this year and must go close, but Sotik Star is preferred back in a handicap. Night Lily and Roshina are another 2 to consider.
