BRAE HILL has been absent since September but Richard Fahey is highly likely have him ready for this return to action. The gelding has gone very well here on his two previous appearances and has an acceptable midfield draw. Invisible Man was a major disappointment when last seen but was otherwise progressive and has obvious claims on his first outing for Godolphin. Guilded Warrior, Academy Blues and Suroor all make plenty of appeal but none of the trio have been done any favours by the all-important draw.
This looks fiercely competitive and most of the field have something to recommend them. Brae Hill reserved his best for this track last year though and he can make a winning start to life with Richard Fahey. Invincible Force and Invisible Man are others with plenty going for them.

None of these can be ruled out with confidence but DANCING DAVID sets the standard on his Racing Post Trophy fourth and solid second to Elusive Pimpernel in the Craven Stakes. The Danehill Dancer colt looks sure to be suited by this first venture over further than a mile. Azmeel and Prompter both shaped well enough in their respective trials to suggest that they will play a major role whilst the once-raced Desert Myth and Irish raider Encompassing could be open to any amount of improvement.
With Desert Myth now a non runner this could go the way of Tamaathul, who's taken to see off the Craven runner-up Dancing David.

HARBINGER looked the real deal when making an impressive seasonal reappearance at Newbury, travelling well and quickening clear to account for a classy field. The sort of four-year-old with which his stable excels, he has already proved his ability to act round this quirky venue. Age Of Aquarius is a massive threat on his Group 1 second to Cavalryman at Longchamp last July but has not been since, while the progressive Once More Dubai could emerge as an equally strong danger to the selection.
An interesting renewal of the Ormonde, and the top 2 both look set for good seasons. Harbinger has a race-fitness advantage over Age of Aquarius following his bloodless success in the John Porter, and he's narrowly preferred on this occasion.

DUCHESS DORA has won all her races over the minimum trip and could well make it five wins from the highly favourable number one draw. A strong traveller, she has a fine win-to-runs ratio and her conditional pilot is excellent value for his claim. Confessional looks sure to win races this term after a most pleasing reappearance but will need to break ultra-smartly from the outside box. Any market support for Archers Road on his first run for his new yard should be taken very seriously.
Duchess Dora looked an improved performer at Sandown on her reappearance and she can follow up from the rail draw. Falasteen will appreciate the return to 5f on decent ground and has to be feared, while Archers Road would be of interest if ready to go on his first start for a new stable.

SAFINA is hard to oppose if her Nell Gwyn Stakes form is taken literally. She finished a fine fourth on only her second career outing with the subsequent 1000 Guineas runner-up and fifth, Jacqueline Quest and Distinctive, behind her. The Pivotal filly is taken to oblige here although the in-form Michael Jarvis team field Qudwah, a highly promising second on debut behind the well thought of Funky Lady and open to any amount of improvement. Strictly Dancing showed enough last term to merit a place on the shortlist.
Qudwah is a filly of some potential and shouldn't be underestimated, but Safina, who is regally bred and holds a Group 1 entry, shaped very well in Group 3 company on her seasonal reappearance, a performance that suggested a maiden win should be a formality. Strictly Dancing may prove best of the rest.

Only beaten in photo-finishes on two of his last three outings, he may earn a change of fortune here on ground he handles well. Starla Dancer looked to need the run on her reappearance and should be spot-on for this assignment, whilst Jedi and Hindu Kush continue to suggest they have more to give.
Jedi ran well here 12 months ago, and with his reappearance behind him, he looks set to get back on an upward curve. Interdiamonds should run her race once more and is respected, while I'm In The Pink is another to consider.
