Useful bumper performer SNOW FALCON sets a solid standard and he ought to be tough to beat. He travelled well in behind a long odds-on shot at Navan on his hurdling bow but was never quite able to get within striking distance of that rival. A reproduction of that effort should be sufficient, though it would come as no surprise to see a big run from Identity Thief who won readily on his NH Flat debut at Fairyhouse. BRIAR HILL surrendered his hitherto unbeaten record when falling in the Albert Bartlett at the Cheltenham Festival but he remains a top prospect for staying events and can resume his progression here. Lieutenant Colonel could be the biggest danger as he pulled nicely clear of Jetson when scoring at Fairyhouse and remains potentially unexposed on just his 10th start. At Fishers Cross has a bit of a point to prove after a disappointing performance at Wetherby but clearly has ability on his day and cannot be completely discounted.

Last year's winner BOBS WORTH is on a bit of retrieval mission after failing to show his best in the Cheltenham Gold Cup, but his trainer has issued some positive reports since and he can bounce back. Lord Windermere triumphed over the reopposing On His Own in that festival showpiece but has to improve on his seasonal reappearance when Boston Bob denied him the runner-up spot at Punchestown. It wouldn't be a huge shock to see him run a big race, likewise for Road To Riches who ran a high-class field ragged with an excellent front-running display at Down Royal and looks to be on a steep upward trajectory.

UP FOR REVIEW scored by six lengths between the flags back in February and the champion trainer has a 50% strike-rate in bumpers this term, so he looks the most likely winner. The jockey bookings for Willie Mullins' pair suggests Arbor Run is the stable's second string but he cannot be discounted completely and deserves a market check. The debutant Robin Thyme also represents leading connections and looks a solid alternative to the aforementioned duo.
