POWER DRIVE had Eos a neck behind when scoring on his handicap debut over 1m2f at Naas and, although the latter has bolted up in claiming company since, Charles O'Brien's charge is fancied to confirm placings meeting on much better terms. Third in the Naas contest was Cache Queen and she has an each-way chance again, as does recent Tipperary runner-up So Enjoy.
CACHE QUEEN was arguably unlucky not to win at Naas 11 days ago, left with a lot to do the way things developed, and is taken to make amends up only 2 lb. Power Drive and So Enjoy head the dangers.

Willie Mullins saddled the winner of this event 12 months ago and he appears to have another cracking chance with LEGAL SPIN this time around. The full-brother to high-class handicapper Laws Of Spin made a promising start to his racing career when runner-up behind Victory Salute (subsequently ran well in Group company) over the extended 1m2f at Cork and he will almost certainly appreciate this step up in trip. Roscommon second High Mounte is the obvious danger, while Daly An Sceil looks best of the remainder.
LEGAL SPIN showed plenty of ability when runner-up on debut at Cork last month and rates a useful prospect. High Mounte is another who made an encouraging start when second at Roscommon and is feared most.

WICKLOW BRAVE has won at the highest level both on the Flat and over timber and, arriving on the back of a solid placed effort in the Grade 3 Grimes Hurdle at Tipperary, he will take an awful lot of beating under top amateur Patrick Mullins. Hopefully a switch back to the level will bring about improvement in Ivanovich Gorbatov, who is without a win since the 2016 Triumph Hurdle, while eight-time NH winner Peregrine Run is an interesting player on his Flat race debut.
WICKLOW BRAVE is probably not the force of old nowadays but this still represents an excellent opportunity for him to resume winning ways. Useful-jumper Peregrine Run is feared most on his belated Flat bow.

A 6lb rise for winning at Bellewstown makes life harder for Babbling Stream but the tongue-tied gelding can't be completely ruled out bidding to follow up, while Top Of The Town appears the pick of Gordon Elliott's pair. However, preference is for Willie Mullins' BARGY LADY, who was a beaten favourite when third at Kilbeggan last time and could make amends now stepping back up in trip from just 1lb higher.
VIEUX MORVAN has had just 2 runs for Joseph O'Brien, both excellent efforts in top Leopardstown handicap chases, and he makes plenty of appeal back over hurdles after 5 months off. Last year's winner Dawn Raider looks set for a big run after a fine effort at Roscommon last week. Babbling Stream won well under his young rider at Bellewstown and has to be respected again along with Bargy Lady.

Jonnigraig is sure to be popular given his connections, but is yet to score in three outings and, having raced far too keenly on his reappearance last time before lacking the required gear change at the business end, may be better suited by a stiffer test than this. Therefore, a chance is taken on Wexford second KILBARRY WAY, who produced a career best on that occasion when encountering a sound surface for the first time and can build on that with leading rider Lisa O'Neill in the saddle. Vic's Little Miss and Joseph O'Brien's debutant Good Scent are others to keep an eye on.
KILBARRY WAY returned to her debut form when runner-up at Wexford 12 days ago and a repeat of that may well see her go one better. Jonnigraig is probably better than he has displayed so far for Willie Mullins, while Good Scent is a likely-looking newcomer.
