Je Suis Unrockstar came unstuck when upped to 6f last time but will benefit from the step back to the minimum distance tonight as he looks to land his third win in his last four starts. Another bold bid is expected, whilst Albany Rose, off the mark on her handicap bow at Wolverhampton recently, is also considered. However, CRYSTALLUS has looked the type to improve now handicapping and has shown on more than one occasion that 5f on polytrack will prove her ideal conditions.
Albany Rose looks open to more improvement and can confirm Wolverhampton superiority over Lisselton Cross. Lady Prodee remains with potential and is well drawn, while the thriving Sacrosanctus also warrants respect.

Sharp Shoes looks rather flattered by the margin of his latest victory and looks worth taking on in a very competitive contest. FEELING FOXY has slipped to a decent mark and bumped into a useful sort in Anne of Kiev at Lingfield last time. There is nothing of that class in this field and James Given's charge has an excellent chance of gaining compensation as a result. Ebraam has returned to form in claiming company but is likely to be found out back in handicaps whilst Vhujon is likely to be staying on all too late and looks in need of 7f.
Sharp Shoes came clear at Wolverhampton last time but will need to overcome a big rise in the weights if he's to follow up, and Lewyn could prove a better option. Grudge and Ebraam can't be ruled out, either.

Fifth In Line should run her usual race and looks open to more improvement at this trip. However, her attitude in a finish is questionable and it may be worth giving DOESN'T CARE a go. Richard Fahey's colt bumped into a useful sort at Wolverhampton on his debut but was not knocked about in fifth and is entitled to build upon that opening effort. Consistant wasn't suited with how things panned out at Wolverhampton last time and could feasibly have more to offer.
Andrew Balding has done well with the handful of runners he's kept on the go on AW this winter and the well-bred Mi Regalo could be worth chaning on his return from a break. Too Many Questions is back out just a week after making a promising debut himself and looks up to winning races, while Barnet Fair has claims despite blotting his copybook last time.

RASHEED holds a rather hopeful Derby entry but wasn't at all disgraced when making an encouraging debut here earlier this month, finishing sixth, and should be capable of landing a small race of this nature with the promise of more to come. Brian Meehan's Crafty Roberto makes the most appeal of the newcomers and is well worth a market check although the once raced pair of Flying Phoenix and Cecile De Volanges hold stronger credentials at this stage with previous experience in their favour.
Aussie Dollar and Flying Phoenix are expected to build on their opening efforts on turf, but unless any of the newcomers prove above average Lady Rosamunde looks set to go one better than on her debut.

ENERGIZING made a very pleasing debut behind the well backed Yaseer over C&D last time and belied his odds of 50/1 with a fine second. Richard Hannon excels with his juveniles and can be relied upon to have continued his improvement so he looks the most likely winner of this maiden contest. Woop Woop looks the type that will improve when handicapping so Art History is worth a look in the betting instead. Mark Johnston's well-bred colt cost 170,000 Guineas as a foal but lacks the previous experience of the selection.
Newcomer Art History needs a market check, but Energizing is the most convincing of those with experience and has to be the call for now. Woop Woop and Spirit of Grace look best of the remainder on recent efforts.

Whipphound is chasing a hat-trick after two wins at Wolverhampton but looks held at the weights here while Buddy Miracle is in good form but may need some help from the handicapper before she breaks her duck. INSOLENCEOFOFFICE was well held at Southwell latest and is 6lb higher than his best winning mark but his recent hat-trick came in handicap company and he should prove too good for these rivals, dropped to claiming class for the first time.
Insolenceofoffice was below form on fibresand last time but had racked up a hat-trick on this surface prior to that and is very much the one to beat down in grade. The in-form Whipphound looks best of the rest.
