HONEY REQUIRED was third in a stronger race at Nottingham last time and is entitled to improve for this drop in grade and also the fitting of a first-time hood. Jet Mate has been raised 3lb for winning a Wolverhampton claimer but has place possibilities along with Just Marion, who finished an outpaced fifth over 7f at Wolverhampton recently and may improve for this extra furlong, and William Haggas' handicap debutant Skylight, who is blinkered for the first time.

Lady Sylvia is 7lb higher than when scoring by a head over course and distance last month but is considered the main danger in her quest for a hat-trick. The pick of the remainder may be Hala Hala, who could better her latest 1m effort at Haydock now dropping into 0-75 company.

Rated 79 on official figures, Ralph Beckett representative HAWKIN sets the standard on his last-time-out second at Newmarket and would take all of the beating if running close to his rating. The main danger may be Wiener Valkyrie, who drops back in distance after posting a solid 1m second at HQ (Cascades back in fifth) and also represents an in-form stable. Its Lady Mary steps up from 6f and has a bit to find with the aforementioned pair on these terms, though she could feasibly play a supporting role.

Hawkin and Wiener Valkyrie both chased home potentially useful types at Newmarket last month, and that duo should play leading roles in this maiden. British Art has been off for 125 days after landing the silver medal over this trip at Newmarket and has place possibilities. GALACTIC HALO looked in need of a stiffer test when plodding on for fourth over the extended 1m at Wolverhampton on debut and the daughter of Rail Link is expected to thrive now stepped up to a trip more in line with her breeding. Chatham House Rule posted his best effort yet when placed over this trip at Leicester and can battle it out with Ridgeway Storm, who didn't stay two miles at Chester, for the silver medal.

Ridgeway Storm has been well beaten on 2 of his last 3 starts but the form of his effort over C&D when second in a handicap to Expert Fighter is more than enough to land this modest maiden. However, marginal preference is for Saeed bin Suroor's hat-trick seeker DAAREE, won won despite the drop in distance here last time and will relish the return to 1m4f. Corton Lad is 4lb higher than when winning on turf in the summer but has place claims, along with the consistent Jacob Cats and recent C&D winner King Calypso.
