It could pay to side with HELLORBOSTON who races off the same mark as when third over C&D five weeks ago. The runner-up has filled second spot again since, so looks like a decent yardstick, and Donald McCain has an 18% strike-rate at this track over the last five seasons. Tartan Tiger possibly 'bounced' on his second start since a long absence and could have more to offer in first-time blinkers, and Caerlaverock completes the shortlist after a decent fourth at Perth.

Watch out for: Tartan Tiger (5)

Quite a trappy amateur event and the vote goes to Cobajayisland who arrives as easily the least exposed now handicapping, and provided he's over his heavy-ground exertions over 2½m here last month, should be up to making his presence felt. Hellorboston looks to have little in hand from his present mark, but continues to run well in defeat and ought to go well. Tartan Tiger can take minor money.

Representing Nicky Henderson and Tony McCoy, the French import is sure to have his fair share of supporters and he could barely have won any easier on his UK debut at Uttoxeter. He has impressively notched up a Kelso double and with the form of his latest success franked by the second and fifth-placed horses, he gets the vote to defy a further 9lb rise. Have You Had Yours found the selection 17 lengths too good two runs ago but bounced back with a game C&D win (Sambelucky second). He is respected, as is triple course winner Morning Time.

Aalim had done little wrong in four hurdle starts before unseating Charlie Deutsch at Ayr, and he can easily be given another chance with Tony McCoy taking over in the plate. Party Rock ran well off this mark at Aintree and shouldn't be too far away, but VASCO DU RONCERAY potentially looks a league above. Twice placed at Grade 2 level, he hasn't disgraced himself in competitive races at Aintree and Sandown the last twice and this drop in class can see him regain the winning thread.

Runaway C&D winner NOSEY BOX is very well treated at these weights and she will prove extremely difficult to beat under the champion jockey. Michael Smith's in-form gelding Bop Along is the obvious danger although, on official figures, he is effectively 9lb wrong with the selection and probably needs the Irish raider to under-perform. Devenish Island can reach the frame if building on his fair hurdling debut at Wetherby.

It is turning out to be a fair race in which RIGHT STRATEGY finished fourth on his comeback at Roscommon last month, and with that first run since December 2012 under his belt and AP McCoy taking over in the saddle, he holds solid claims in a very winnable contest. Big George ran a race full of promise on his return to action at Perth and merits consideration lining up off the same mark, while Kayfrou wouldn't be without a chance on his first handicap start over fences.

Point-winner Big George was well supported when finding one too good on his second try over fences at Perth last month and is worth siding with to go one better here. Mister Wall Street is well treated on his old exploits and should also be in the mix following a better effort in this headgear last time, whilst Irish-raider Right Strategy is another of interest with McCoy booked.
