FARAWAY KINGDOM was mightily impressive when landing the spoils over this trip at Tampa last time and could take some stopping in her bid to follow up. Skinny Legs N All and Shesa Tough Kitty finished second and third respectively in a similar contest at this venue latest and look set to scrap it out for minor placings once again.
ELVA MAE didn't appear to get home when fifth over an extended 1m here last time and, with this drop in trip likely to suit, she can lose her maiden tag at the fourth time of asking. Just Take It is taking a significant drop in grade and could pose the main danger, while Sand Creek could be another worth noting on her racecourse debut.
CAPTAIN WOOD stayed on strongly when scoring over five and a half furlongs here last time and, with this step-up in trip not a concern, he can complete the double. Call Me Now won in comfortable fashion at this venue latest and is unlikely to go down without a fight, while Timeless Facts takes a big drop in class and is another with claims.
SHORE BREEZE ICON produced a gallant effort in defeat when runner-up over a similar trip here last time and gets the confident nod to go one better tonight. Charlie's Reprized was less than four lengths behind the selection that day (finishing third) and should be in the shake-up once again, while Red Streamer is another that warrants respect.
YONATOWKA didn't have to come out of second gear when striking gold over a similar trip here last time and is extremely hard to oppose in her bid to land back-to-back victories. Princess Paster is expected to ask most questions on the back of her gritty Turfway success, while Conga is another that cannot be left out of calculations.
MS MANIPULATOR was mightily impressive when landing the spoils over this track and trip last time and should have few problems completing the double. Churubusco and General Darby finished second and third respectively in a similar contest at this venue latest and seem sure to be in the thick of things once again.
UNEXPECTED VALOR went down by the narrowest of margins on debut after a bold front-running show at Fair Grounds and any normal amount of improvement should see him go one better. Golden Zeit takes a significant drop in grade after two fair efforts and rates the main danger while Apache Creek has invariably run well in six starts and looks pick of the remainder.
PROFESSIONAL GRADE has proved consistency personified in recent months and he appeared rather unlucky to finish third last time after being forced three wide when mounting his challenge. He can regain the winning thread granted better luck in running. Caruso has been keeping better company than this of late and is respected down in grade while Dontcallmeshorely is another entitled to respect.
