Verdict

MING SLING barely had to break into a sweat when landing the spoils over 1m at Arlington latest and could take some stopping in her bid to complete the double. Royal Thumb Tack just got the better of Guanahani in a slightly weaker race at Arlington last month and they look set for another good tussle.

Verdict

It could pay to side with RICHIEGIRLGOTCLASS on her racecourse debut. She has shown plenty of promise in recent workouts and is likely to be fairly wound up. Our Girl Magic has shown enough promise in past performances to suggest that she can go close here, while Inscript is another to consider, dropped in grade.

Verdict

SOUPER MISS showed a likeable attitude when striking gold over this trip at Arlington last time and will be strongly fancied to follow up. Kayla Do and Ansong are others to arrive in winning form and won't be without support.

Verdict

Plenty in with chances here with a slight preference for I'M WAITING FOR U. He hasn't proved the most consistent recently but has gone close in much better contests than this and might not need to be at his best to take the spoils. Alpha Capo was third in this grade in a sprint here last time but has run over this trip and looks the danger while Crook's Bodgit won a weaker contest last time and might not be too far away tonight.

Verdict

This might not take too much winning and it could pay to give STARS OF THE SEA another chance. He's yet to win this year and was beaten in a slightly-weaker contest latest but has gone close in better contests this summer and could take this if at his best. Young Cat won a $4k claimer three starts ago and could be the one for the exacta while Classic Sky and Whatsat are others with chances.

Verdict

This should go the way of CHECK MY DADDY, who hasn't won since May but has been running well since in much better contests. Dropped in grade tonight, she should prove too good for these rivals. There seems little between Dancing Kristal and Rainbow's Secret and they should fight out the minor honours.
