Sandy's Row appears to be heading the right way and commands respect in what represents a slight drop in class, while Flighty Clarets could get involved if stepping forward from her debut sixth. The vote, however, goes to Kevin Ryan's newcomer LUCK. The North Yorkshire handler boosts a fine level-stakes profit with his runners at this venue over the last five seasons and he's sure to have this son of Red Clubs fit enough to do himself justice.

Prior to struggling in a competitive handicap at Ayr, the five-year-old ran out an easy winner at this level over a furlong further here, and he should prove difficult to beat again if in that sort of mood. Love Delta ran well enough on the all-weather last time to suggest that he can take a hand in the finish.

FINE ALTOMIS showed a liking for soft ground when scoring readily at Musselburgh on Friday and he should have few problems defying a 6lb penalty if reproducing that level of performance. King Of Paradise won in game fashion on his handicap debut over C&D last month and has to be respected, despite a 5lb rise, while Always Eager faces a tougher task than when successful at Wolverhampton but he cannot be ruled out either.
Fine Altomis should go well under a penalty but the style of King of Paradise's victory here last time marked him down as one to follow and he's preferred.

It could pay to side with handicap debutant CROFTAMIE. There are plenty of positives to take from her three starts in maiden company and the daughter of Selkirk showed she handles soft ground when third on debut at Nottingham. Never Perfect is another effective when underfoot conditions are testing and he is fancied to put in a good performance, while C&D scorer Damascus Symphony is currently 3lb lower than her last winning mark and cannot be overlooked.
This type of test seems sure to suit Croftamie and she can make a winning handicap debut. Never Perfect has been better than the result so far this season and may emerge as the biggest threat with his yard starting to find its feet again.

Solar View is surely a lot better than he showed on his handicap debut at Leicester four weeks ago (well supported) and cannot be written off just yet, but LUCTOR EMERGO looks the safer option on this occasion. He emerged with plenty of credit when fourth over 1m here and the way he finished off that race suggests that this extra half-mile will suit. Za'lan is the likely pacesetter and could make them all pay if given too much rope.
Solar View is just the type his connections do well with and makes plenty of appeal. Za'lan should run his race and could be next best ahead of Luctor Emergo.

JAMAICAN BOLT showed that he's every bit as good as last year when third on similarly soft ground at Haydock 10 days ago, and there is a big chance he will improve for that first start in almost a year. Besty has been hammering on the door and seems sure to be on the premises once again, while dual course winner Distant Sun merits a place on the shortlist after getting within three-parts of a length of winning here last Thursday.
Besty, who has placed on all 3 outings this year, is taken to regain the winning thread, with recent seller winner Another Citizen and the lightly-raced Jamaican Bolt also likely contenders.

Bid For Gold showed that he retains plenty of ability when runner-up over C&D some three weeks ago and he must go close if improving on that first appearance in 12 months, but preference is for the other Jedd O'Keeffe runner, KAPUNDA. He was much improved on his latest maiden start at Redcar, when showing he handles soft ground, and he doesn't look at all badly treated for his handicap debut. Sovereign Street shouldn't be too far away either.
A wide-open affair, where it may pay to take a chance with Reason To Believe, who scored in first-time blinkers last year and may do so again in first-time cheekpeices here. Sovereign Street and Spread Boy are also worthy of consideration.
