BEAUFORT has run well in all three starts to date. He knows the track and can score his maiden win in what looks the right kind of field. WINTER BLUES and MARK TAPLEY look to have the scope needed to improve but both have not drawn well. Still they need to be taken seriously. HERODUS has fair West Cape form but has drawn wider still. TRULY VAR can get into it.

GOA could be a strong contender on the back of some fair West Cape form. She should come into a better draw with reserves taking up barriers and could make a successful polytrack debut. MBALI races for a stable in top form. She didn't impress on debut but that was a while back and she may improve nicely. GEORGINA, AL'S BELLS and FLAMBOYANT have the form to go close.
