ROSESKA ran away with a similar quality race to this at Clonmel last time and looks more than capable of following up. That win came over today's 2m trip and the decent ground won't be a problem. La Tizona didn't fire at Listowel latest in the mud but had earlier gone close on fast ground at Tramore. He can figure back on his favoured ground. Man Friday is bred for this game and comes from top connections so keep an eye on his progress in the betting ring, with similar comments applying to Southampton.
Roseska did the job in good style at Clonmel where she never saw another rival and was slick at the obstacles, with the exception of hitting the second-last. She can go in again, with most resistance likely to be offered by La Tizona. Chebona Bula can pick up minor place money.

DEPUTY CONSORT sneaks in at the bottom of the weights but can make his presence felt. He saves his best for this distance and was beaten in a close finish at Roscommon latest. That was on firm ground and he'll be thereabouts again. Deal Or No Deal has been in great form on a soft surface and had a bit in hand when scoring at Listowel latest. This trip suits and he'll go close if handling this faster going. Ringned battled on well to strike at Roscommon latest and won't be far away with conditions again in his favour.
Deal Or No Deal has looked like one that will keep on improving for the time being and is selected to complete the hat-trick. Plenty of others are in with chances, with recent Flat winner Grantsville and Portant Fella looking to have good each-way claims.

FOR A FINISH was a convincing bumper winner over this trip at Clonmel last weekend and can strike on his return to hurdling. He likes fast ground and looks a decent prospect. Huckle Buck Shoe has shown bits and pieces of form over timber since winning his bumper earlier this season. He was well backed when down the field last time and is capable of much better. Presenting Massey didn't show in the mud at Galway latest but had earlier gone well on better ground at Cork and has place prospects.
Huckle Buck Shoe is the one to beat on hurdles form, and if For A Finish can reproduce what he showed in a bumper last time in this sphere he will be a danger to all under Barry Geraghty. However, the suggestion is an each-way bet on Aventia who should represent decent value.
PADDY CURRY ran his best race over hurdles so far when a decent fourth at Ballinrobe last time out. He is suited by this trip and there should be plenty more to come. Fort George ran away with a Listowel bumper last time when he stayed this trip really well. He has the scope for hurdling and looks a major danger. Bumper winner Present Diamonds has made a slow start to his hurdling career but this trip should suit and he's got place claims.
Fort George is of obvious interest but Oklahoma Jack has generally tackled a much better calibre of opponent so far and is worth another chance in a weak-looking event. Paddy Curry can claim third place.

Noel Meade has an excellent record in this race and he can enhance it further with WATSON LAKE. He's proven over this course and distance and saves his best for a sound surface. He didn't enjoy Punchestown's cross-country course on his latest start but earlier went close in good company at Navan over this trip and should be fit and ready. War Of Attrition is clearly not the horse he once was but he showed some promise last season, including winning at this level. He'll be right there if fully fit, while Dbest is fit from a spin on the Flat and is proven in this company.
War of Attrition may prove vulnerable on his return and, with conditions in his favour, this looks a good opportunity for Dbest. With question marks surrounding Conna Castle and Watson Lake for different reasons, the usually reliable One Cool Cookie may emerge as the main threat.

AH YAH BOY YA has been knocking on the door and ran an excellent second over 2m6f at Tramore last time out. He likes fast ground, looks on a fair mark and is still open to plenty of improvement. Bishop's Lane is another who has been in good nick and was boxing on well over this trip at Listowel latest. He's on the shortlist, while See Double You went down in a photo at Kilbeggan last time and stays this trip really well.
Gordon Elliot is doublehanded in this race, but with Bauhaus coming here on the back of a lengthy absence, Kells Castle looks the one to be on. Ah Ya Boy Ya and Bishop's Lane are both entitled to be thereabouts as well.

CHINA ROCK was fourth in the Ballymore Novices' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival and went on to fill the same position at Punchestown. He has the scope for chasing and any market support on this debut would be telling. Azana jumped well on his chasing debut at Ballinrobe latest and looks open to plenty of improvement. He likes this trip and there should be plenty more to come. Betabob went well on his last crack over this trip over hurdles and has the scope for the bigger obstacles.
Barring accidents, it's difficult to envisage China Rock being beaten here, for all that he may be best over 2½m+. Azana and Narquois can fill the places.

STONETHROWER is nicely bred and has every chance of striking for Charlie Swan and Nina Carberry. He should relish fast ground on pedigree and the betting will be a good guide. Kingsdale Prinxess is a daughter of Galileo so should have a touch of class. She will be fine on the fast ground and can make her presence felt. The betting will be the best guide to the others' chances, with Presenting Gold one to watch if coming in for support.
The fact none of the field has run before makes finding the winner rather tricky, but 2 or 3 stand out on paper, with Mariah Rollins' half-sister Bully Wuskers getting the nod over Stonethrower and You'll Be Grand, though a lot more should be learnt from a look at the market come race time.
