PRINCE KHURRAM can take a 7lb penalty in his stride here and follow up his Bangor victory over the same distance last week for Donald McCain and Lorcan Murtagh who retains the steering duties. Chicksgrove Sprite should be the next best option in the race but needs plenty more to play a significant role, while Hampshire handler Chris Gordon travels along the south coast with Rob Robin.
PRINCE KHURRAM capitalised on the handicapper’s leniency when winning comfortable at Bangor recently. He still remains very well treated on old form, and is selected to take advantage of another good opportunity. Chicksgrove Sprite is open to more progress than a lot of these, and he can give the selection most to think about, ahead of Rob Robin.

IVOR'S QUEEN can get off the mark over fences here at the third occasion and she is sure to enjoy herself here. Colin Tizzard's mare will need to see off the challenge of Mercian King who looks the main danger and the six-year-old could build on his recent second at Bangor. The Yank has a bit to find to get on terms with the aforementioned, while Flashman looks seriously up against it at present.

Olly Murphy's KNIGHT COMMANDER saw his winning run come to an end last time, but the trainer admits he made a mistake turning him out so soon after his win two days before that run and he is backed to bounce back to his best now following a month off. Zamperini is an interesting recruit off the Flat to keep an eye on, while Jackblack has to be respected following his recent placed efforts.
ZAMPERINI has a trio with hurdling experience to overcome debuting in this sphere, but Jackblack hasn't been at his best recently, and Knight Commander has the burden of a double penalty, whereas the selection clearly possesses plenty of ability based on Flat form and is bred to take to this discipline, so he's given the nod.

OUR THREE SONS battled on well to score over the extended 2m at Stratford last time and this slight step up in trip could assist him as he bids to overcome a 4lb rise. Novis Adventus has been in good order in novice hurdles of late and looks on a fair mark now switched to handicaps, while Lake Chapala, who is 7lb higher than when winning over 2m1f at Newton Abbot in June, is no forlorn hope for a place either.
NOVIS ADVENTUS has made a sound start to his hurdling career, and given his useful Flat ability, is expected to progress in this sphere, so he's preferred to Our Three Sons, who has been fairly clinical in recent months.

King Vince commands respect after landing a Newton Abbot bumper with plenty in hand last time but he's now penalised, tipping the scales in favour of ALI THE HUNTER, who should be all the wiser for the experience gained when fourth at Stratford on debut. Ipflibbydibby was third on debut at Uttoxeter and has place claims if running to a similar level of form here, though he needs to bounce back from a lacklustre run at Newton Abbot latest.
KING VINCE was a different proposition on second start when landing a 9-runner bumper at Newton Abbot last month and is selected to defy a penalty. Kebir de La Vis was sent off favourite for that race, and though he underperformed, is expected to finish closer this time, while Railroad Junkie fell both starts in points but is a half-brother to a winner in this sphere.
