WESTEND PRINCE comes into this in good form having followed his good fourth at Newton Abbot with a runner-up finish at Wincanton last month. His current mark certainly looks a winning one and he can earn reward for his consistency this afternoon. Rolling Dough is another who has been going really well of late but the handicapper has taken note, while Titans Approach needs to step forward again having finished third at Stratford last time.
ON ALBERTS HEAD escapes a penalty for last week's Huntingdon success and gets the vote to follow up under Daryl Jacob. Westend Prince reacted well to blinkers last time and should go close off the same mark if the headgear continues to have a positive effect, while Rolling Dough backed up her C&D win when second at Huntingdon and should figure again.

The 'bounce' factor is always a concern after such performances, and he can be taken on at likely short odds with FOR 'N' AGAINST. There was a lot to like about KINGSCOURT NATIVE's performance here last month, and he can get his career back on track in an equally modest contest. The son of King's Theatre only found an in-form and well-handicapped rival too good last time out, and with nothing similar seemingly lurking here, the eight-year-old is fancied to take advantage. Newton Geronimo is clearly a talented horse, but he can be troublesome at the start and must rate as a risky betting proposition. Argot was an impressive winner the last time he was seen over hurdles, and a repeat of that effort would see him there at the finish. He was most recently seen on the Flat at Southwell and must overcome a 114-day absence.
Having been given a major chance by the assessor, KINGSCOURT NATIVE found only one too strong in a 26f handicap here last week, so it's hard to ignore his claims from the same mark. Coeur Tantre may yet have more to offer, while it wouldn't be a surprise to see Money Talks figure back over timber.

A return to better ground and retaining the services of the talented Gavin Sheehan should also be beneficial for the 10-year-old, who is now just 2lb higher than his last winning mark. Riddlestown has performed admirably for a few months now and his claimer takes off a valuable 7lb. Expect Caroline Fryer's charge to be popular in the market as a result, with Dawnieriver also fancied to go well after a pleasing reappearance at Uttoxeter three weeks ago for the Scudamore brothers.

The booking of Tom Scudamore and a modest handicap rating of 99 could be just the ingredients needed for DRAGOON GUARD to open his account over hurdles. Anthony Honeyball's string are usually in fine form at this time of year, and with two winners here just eight days ago, the Dorset-based handler could have found an excellent opportunity for his five-year-old. Warren Greatrex is another man in form and Act Of Supremacy is entitled to respect having had a run at Carlisle, while The Lampo Genie is now quite exposed but should be thereabouts in the closing stages of what is a weak contest. Courgar Kid and Ourmanmassini complete the shortlist.
SHIMBA HILLS has yet to taste success over hurdles, but arrives here on the back of a career best when adding to his tally on the level last month, and this is a race lacking depth. Dragoon Guard and Cougar Kid may yet come good themselves in handicaps, so are feared most.
