Barring accidents, this should go the way of SIRE DE GRUGY, who destroyed his field when scoring over 2m 3f at Fakenham last month on his hurdling debut. He wasn't always fluent at his hurdles but won with any amount in hand, is open to further improvement and looks far too good for these rivals. Alwaysonthemove has shown good progress on his two runs over timber and looks the one for the forecast but has a lot to find with the selection. Caddie Master could prove best of the rest.
It's impossible to oppose Sire de Grugy, with Alwaysonthemove selected for forecast purposes.

Irish 'bumper' scorer Swift Lord showed plenty of promise on his UK debut in a 2m Ludlow hurdle and could make a bold bid here on his chasing bow but preference is for NATIVE GALLERY, who landed a double in Irish point-to-points last season. He's put in two good efforts over timber since moving to the UK and looks the pick of these as he tackles fences for the first time.
This looks a match between Native Gallery and Swift Lord on their chase debuts. The former, who has tasted success in the pointing field, is narrowly preferred.

The Crafty Cuckoo, successful between the flags, makes his hurdling debut for an in-form yard and can be given a chance, while Carpincho was well beaten last time at Catterick but has claims on his impressive hurdling debut win at Sedgefield. Cotillon showed plenty of improvement to finish second at Chepstow on his second start and should be thereabouts but slight preference is for HALF COCKED, for whom the penny appears to have dropped. He cantered home to score in style over 3m 3f at Fontwell last month and can follow up now.
Useful Flat stayer Cotillion offered a good deal more over hurdles when stepped up to 2½m at Chepstow last time and is taken to open his account with even more emphasis on stamina. Saffron Lord shaped with a lot more promise last time and looks the chief threat, whilst a market move for point winner The Crafty Cuckoo should be heeded now starting out over hurdles for a capable yard.

Although he scored over hurdles at Hereford last time out, UKRAINIAN STAR looks the one to be on here. He's taken well to the bigger obstacles, scoring twice from seven starts, and although his consistency can be questioned, he's won in better company than this and looks still ahead of the handicapper. Oponce, second at Fakenham last month, is clearly going the right way and looks the one for the forecast, while Mr Chippy and Quartz Du Montceau can also be given chances here.
Ukrainian Star is by far the most reliable of these and may not have to improve on the form of his latest win over hurdles at Hereford to follow up. Oponce has his stamina to prove but is respected, whilst Mr Chippy is a potential dark horse and needs to be monitored in the betting.

Whitcombe Spirit scored over C&D last month but may struggle with another 7lb, while Lingfield scorer Rosoff was only beaten a head over 2m at Plumpton next time but is up 1lb in the ratings today. Sebastiano and Master Milan can be given good chances but preference is for THE BISHOPS BABY. She's put in four good efforts over hurdles and only just failed to hang on when a close second over 2m 3f off this mark at Fontwell last week. There should be more to come and this drop in trip can enable her to break her duck.
Not one of the 6 runners can be discounted, and if a gamble develops on Master Milan the cash could be worth following. That said, Whitcombe Spirit did travel sweetly when getting off the mark over C&D last time, and he could again come out on top. Friday's Fontwell runner-up The Bishops Baby shouldn't be far away either.

She's Humble looked just about at the end of her tether when scoring at Plumpton last month and may struggle here, up 4lb and in class. Valley View has struggled over hurdles but looks well treated on his chasing and handicap debut and could run well. It could, however, be worth siding with ABEY M'BOY, who is 4lb lower now than when scoring comfortably over 2m at Uttoxeter last October. He's since performed with credit and ran well until unseating his rider at the last at Newbury latest. His best form should be good enough here.
Irish point winner Valley View has shown promise on all 3 starts over hurdles and looks worth siding with now going chasing on his first crack in a handicap. Abey M'Boy should figure if he keeps the jumping errors down, while Plumpton scorer She's Humble will be dangerous if allowed her own way up front.
